Re AST, the pressed in rubber bush in the lower mount that bolts the the axle, well it stays bolted to the axle, but the damper pulls away from the bush! VERY dangerous! The eyelet the bush is pushed into is larger than the 18mm bolt, therefore if you pull hard enough...
aye it still is, we redesigned the rear lower damper mount (see that beefy b*****d in the picture) as the cup racer items had a habit of snapping, plus the "pressed insert" type dampers i'm not a fan of, especially after seeing several AST units fall apart
with cams you'll be up over 190bhp (they make 170 stock) and around 170lbs/ft
if you chose schrick (there are other alternatives) you'd be paying over £2K (nearer to £3K if its complete standard) fitted/mapped/exhaust/filter yada yada yada

from memory here anything with the hologram sticker (ie pretty much everything LOL) was on average +20% IIRC, i maybe wrong but it was always a sore subject LOL
no they are not, they run a stock road car setup (based of the ragnotti RS) with no ABS

are your front pads free in the calipers, VERY common people simply fit the pads without checking the pads are free to move/allow for expansion = the pads "stick"
