^they don't have wear indicators, the low brake pad warning is caused by low fluid, because all the brake fluid is in the calipers rather than in the resivoir
new pads and check level AFTER
I'm not fussed where you take it, trust me my marketing skills are crap (check out my website for evidence LOL!)
All i want to do is highlight why and how people **** it up
If you don't loosen the pulleys and set the belt tension on its marks, as soon as you turn the engine over by hand the cams will move out of position - hence cam timing will be out, hard to explain, but i'm in the process of making a video to show the ins and outs of why and how **** ups happen...
yeah, do it with the engine off at first, even crank the engine with the HT leads off just to get fluid through the pump (no real need but overkill is no bad thing)
fire it up, top up, lock to lock 5-6 times, check, top up, dirve, check, done
4 x 16mm bolts holding the rack onto the subframe, i leave the rack in, easier IMO
unbolt both ball joints
unbolt dogbone and lower engine mount
drop subframe (remove gearlinkage bar if you're being extra careful)
point being though, for a suspension kit costing a chunk of money it simply shouldn't happen, on a £180 set of coilovers i'd understand, but on a £1K set? No chance, that's piss poor IMO
same with everything, exhausts for example, a Miltek costs what? about £400? wonderful, it has a 75% chance...
Strangley i've never touched anything ever, 100% straight me, although working on renaults all day does push my limits LOL
I enjoy not taking life seriously, way too boring!
