3-4 weeks not as bad as i expected fred =D waited six weeks coilovers so thats nothing lol how much are the race systems for my 172 inc decat an would it be possible to collect from yourself seeing as your only down the road from me
i'd rather live with the engine movement then the cost an risk of something like that. Its only common sense that if you uprate the mounts it going to cause stress to other components. Stick to standard an a powerflex dogbone thanks
Looking at buying a new system for me ph2 172. Bin looking at full yozza race systems with decat an the ktec ultra with decat. Just after abit of feed back on there quality an delivery time tbh folks
at the minute it dont idle it'll start but thats with his foot to the floor. He just wants a safe base map loading onto the car jus to get a few miles under its belt off boost just to iron out any teething problems (i.e oil leaks, coolant leaks)
Basically a pal of mine is in a bit of bother with his mg an is running dta management. He's just rebuilt the motor again with bigger spec an fitted his dta management. He ideally wants a base map loaded on the cars ecu so he can run it safely an bascically bleed engines an makes its all ok...
i had a simalar prob when i blew a fuse but mine was due to an aftermarket strero i basically blew a 20amp fuse an the car thought doors were open when i was locking it hence the one long tone
if you have the tool an the stretchy boot all you need to do is remove the driveshaft from the hub but you can leave it in the box. Then just trim your boot to size soak it in boiling water an apply a small amout of grease to the cone an then slide it over your joint fill with cv grease fit...
most motor factors sell a universal stretchy rubber boot that you cut to size an slide over with the cone i think i paid a tenner for boot including the cone i used to use um all time when i worked at stratstone as its less labour intensive
Cheers luke yeah sits a lot nicer now an handles nicely too tbh jus gonna have the wheels powder coated by a pal an thats pretty much for the exterior the rest will be engine an chassis stuff. An when u gonna organise another drive out dude ;)
