    Powerflex camber bushes

interesting product, as I can see you can alter the roll center also. I guess few people have them as I couldn't find any feedback either

You ditched the trophy dampers? weren't they rebuildable?

Scrub Radius- How much of it?

Interesting that the 172 cup has ET38 wheels while the 182 cup/cup pack has ET45, and despite this the official figures don't spec different track width between them (as I can remember)

Scrub Radius- How much of it?

Very interesting thoughts here :) I am thinking of going like this: FIrst of all I will assume that the std geometry is quite good, hell, that's why we love these cars right? :) And based on the things I know about the std suspension setup(ride height, toe, camber, caster etc) I will try to...

Cliosport, lend me your ears!! What is this noise?? (Rear of the car, vios/sounds inside)

received the parts from gaz yesterday :) now I have to find some time to fit them. very satisfied with their support as I was saying!

Well thanks for your opinion! Any idea if the clio has positive or negative scrub straight from the factory?

    Anti-rattle springs

remove the springs and allow for some play when moving the pads up and down in the caliper - about 1mm of play I'd say (that may require some more filing). I did this on mine and never had any issues Cheers!

Scrub Radius- How much of it?

ok but how much is too much then? I would think that 20-25mm of spacers is quite a lot, but I never intend on going that far, maybe just 10 or 15-16mm maximum on the front I already read that article ;) Thanks anyway! On some cars 5mm of extra positive scrub can be nasty, maybe others cope or...

    Track car coilover spring rates......

Isn't the front supposed to be stiffer, as the weight ballance is mostly on the front axis?

Who's using Gaz GHA coilovers? What damping are you using?

ok, so what about the settings? I run the same kit from gaz and am curious how people adjust them for track days

Scrub Radius- How much of it?

clio 182 std wheels are ET45, 172 cup wheels are ET38

Scrub Radius- How much of it?

If you are referring to the ET38 172 cup offset then yeah you are pretty much the same as OEM What tyres are you using? the 205/45 r16 federals that I have are wider than the stock michelins so they sit closer to the strut, and that is with ET 37 ultras on

Scrub Radius- How much of it?

Well that is what I am trying to find out here. It looks like a large number of people are running spacers, are they all doing it for the looks? Have seen proper track cars spaced out, what's the deal then? I'd prefer not to either but because of the fat federals rsr's I have and the 1,5 deg...

wouldn't blame the spacers for your problem (well not mostly). I guess they just amplified some issue you had which wouldn't show up without them on

Different Suspension Setups on All Models

can't understand these 60, 80mm or more drops people claim here, I had mine lowered about 30mm (measured properly not by some manufacturer claim) on gaz coilovers and I was bottoming out on every small bump... have your cars measured, they are not that low as you might think! and that's a good...

Scrub Radius- How much of it?

Hi all, Just went recently to my first track day, and found the wheel bolts undone after only a 20 min session (they were torqued up one day before) and decided to convert to studs after that.. Could only find 100mm long ones and since I am running no spacers they stick out quite a lot - looks...

Cliosport, lend me your ears!! What is this noise?? (Rear of the car, vios/sounds inside)

no, not yet, it will take a while (maybe a week or more) to travel across europe. they are sending only the internal parts which will need replacement. Gonna post here how it will go. but yeah, really nice dudes at Gaz ;)

Cliosport, lend me your ears!! What is this noise?? (Rear of the car, vios/sounds inside)

Guess what, I emailed GAZ and explained my problem, gave them a link to this thread and kindly asked if they could send me the parts needed for the rear shocks to get fixed (since I don't live in the UK) and they were very nice, replied within half hour and said that they will dispatch the goods...

Cliosport, lend me your ears!! What is this noise?? (Rear of the car, vios/sounds inside)

Wow finally found someone with the same problem! But yours is a bit louder than mine though.. I was suspecting the rear exhaust mounts in mine as they are a bit loose and I have the milltek dual 90 mm exhaust tips and they do touch a little on the bumper trim but if you said that with normal...

GAZ rear coilover rear struts noise

can't remember but I have the cup suspension and 23 mm outer bushes. Some mechanics had a look and all the bushes looked snug and undamaged. they said the knock may occur in one of the brake calipers somehow, there's some play in one of them apparently

GAZ rear coilover rear struts noise

have you any pics of the things you describe? mine isn't that low on the front and it made these knocks even with the std suspension, as far as I remember.

GAZ rear coilover rear struts noise

it's like a knock but not very loud. I also have about the same noise on the front for ages and couldn't find it's source, everything is tight, poly bushes, solid mounts, etc and still knocks, but that's another story

Coilover dust boots - where to buy?

Hi there, I went on and did them custom from a tough water repellent material. It only cost me about £20 all four of them. they ended up like this:

    GAZ GHA disassembled

I will get into this, just recently moved my shop to another location and that took me all of my spare time. But don't expect something extraordinary, they are built very rough, with cheap materials, no stainless steel or aluminium inside, except for the rods maybe (they look and should be...

    Oz wheels on 182

They are really good on the dry, didn't actually track them but on a dry road they are fantastic, I never had the guts to push beyond their limits, waiting for a track day for that :)

GAZ rear coilover rear struts noise

Hello there, I have the new style GAZ units on the back (coilovers) and they seem to make more noise than the standard setup, is there something wrong in this new design or is it just something regarding the install procedure? Thx! p.s: I find it a little bit odd now that the entire rear end...

    Oz wheels on 182

I have 16" ultras and it scrapes the rear arches. I have no spacers but the 595 rs-r are slightly wider than other tyres and they do scrape a little. couldn't imagine how you could get 10 mm spacers on the rear with any 205 tyre without it rubbing

    Painting wheels and mirrors- opinions

I'm taking the wheels to the paintshop later today, I have a final dilemma between matte black (renault F1 ultraleggeras) and cup pack grey. I love the black option, seen a iceberg silver 182 ad it looked great with them. However on arctic blue the grey option would look nicer I guess.. What do...
