£30 fine my misses got one driving my car before i had chance to take mine off!! i think tints look good when done front and rear but look stupid when the front is standard and rear is tinted!! the windows have a good enough tint to them anyways to stop glare
no not saying they are better than standard but worse on track what i am saying is that if your a hardcore track day fan then you will be able to get a more exact setup and stiffer setup on higer end priced coilovers that have adjustable damping and what not(where as racelands are fixed)...
well had my first day out on mine today and im well impressed, ride seems still soft when cruising around, but push it and it seems to firm up with much less body roll!!! like said if you want track use dont bother! but if your like me and want lower than 30mm go for these, ill get some pics up...
just ordered mine from the ebay shop looking forward to my car not smelling of fumes now! (fitting decat in garage not a good idea and then running it lol)
done a search but cant seem to find any info i need for the phase 1 172! what size trumpet do you need to fill the fog light hole? just been planning on doing this for a while and demon tweeks are 10% off everything at moment so gonna buy it
cheers for the help
racelands are good i think! if all you want is a lowered car more than springs can offer they are the best to go for! if your looking for performance round track i dont think id bother id go for more upmarket so to speak coilovers
My old one had voluntary at £1500 and also young/Inexperienced driver of £400 made me laugh but only way to get insurance low as I had only been driving a year and went from 1.2 8v Clio to 172! Thankfully now it's only 0 voluntary and couple hundred compulsary which is so much better
ill get a pic of mine up tomorrow mate you cannot see it! but the only way i see mine is if i am slightly lower than my rear bumper! it is stealth as a stealth should be
never struggled with my ktec stealth at all fits perfectly! only reason it dont fit properly is that you/garage have fitted it wrongly! dont go for the supersports stealth though its droney at 60+ id go for the silenced center section stealth if i was in your shoes, if your going for a ktec that...
i had that with my exhaust it was to do with the rear mount being as weak as arses lol. i just lodged something inbetween the rubber mounts, cabled tied the exhaust over to the left a bit if your looking at it and problem solved! although im sure a trader or someone does an aftermarket rear...
Wierdlt enough I was in Renault yesterday asking about top mounts and there were 2 different types with the same part number! Both £47.37 each and both for same car one looked like a top mount with just a bolt in the top one was with a Allen key hole and bolt, not sure if there is an upgrade to...
 do u not no count the threads is the new accurate way lol that's how we all did it by the looks of things!! Anyone no the mac amount of -camber these offer
lol what was the reason for the £30 fines noise pollution or something lol?? im hoping ill be ok in mine only do town driving like 2 miles max a day other than the sunday blasts whats the deal if the old bill pull you over then slap on the wrists or do you have to produce the car to say it...
yeah i just got one on and its crazy loud dont think its that bad normal driving but down shifts, blips and full throttle its crazy!!! and whats this about £30 fines then?
This is spot on because in theory the car is standard from how it cam out of te factory as it was Renault who put them on there lol. And what about the people who have te oz f1 allys on there 172s but in there optional 16" form not 15 I think I would go else where
f**k me thats a bit harsh!!! although i was speaking to a guy recently about insurance and he was telling me they are going through the roof at the moment! thankfully ill be taking the insurance out with sky because they were much better than anyone else!
I just fitted my nw decat to my ktec stealth supersports exhaust(no center silencer) today and all I can say is if you don't want a loud exhaust don't get a standard decat it's not to bad on normal driving but once underload it's v.loud!!! But on down shifts, blips of the throttle and fast...
got mine on today but they are not level so ill sort it out tomorrow and get some pics up but im well happy with the quality for value for money! think anyone would be as long as you dont expect high high quality coilovers and just some entry level ones you will be plesantly surprised i think...
