used hammerite on it and the TB and some black VHT paint I had on the fuel rail guard.
did it not only for the looks but it seems like painted parts are a lot easier to clean lol
got some pics of the lower inlets to get some opinions if porting them is worthwhile (they are the RS stamped ones)
can someone explain or post some pic with how the horns are attached and wired? had an accident on that side which damaged the horns and MOT is in about a week or two and need to sort this out. wouldn't want to spend money and do the job myself instead.

After reading on some blog about these went to citroen today and collected for about 8 quid. part number visible in the photo:
the mounting clamps are identical to the original jets, took me 2 mins to fit :)

yeah but... I'm having solid mounts and the knock appears some times, and only when the car is cold (first drive off in the morning). so what's to blame now? drive shaft seems ok (the other one is new actually)
and it's not really a knock, I mean you barely could hear it, it's more like running...
by how much the length should be increased? was thinking of elongating the mount holes of the lower ball joint by a few mm, to reposition the hub further to the exterior and creating space for the drive shaft instead of shortening it. does this sound right? this also will give a bit of camber...
