according to other threads mate your car dont have a reset switch and alot of threads simply say undo your battery for an hour :S either that or it should tell you how to reset it in your user manual

if you go into your manual that you got with the car it tells you how to reset the fuel as well mate shows you exactly where it is as well

did you tough the positive terminal on any bear metal...i did this on my old car and it tripped the fuel cut/engine cut off switch!!! just inbetween the battery and ecu should be a red topped button just press thatin and see if it works.....resets the sytem if i rember rightly

a company called savage make universal backboxes i had one on my old clio 1.2 and it was so crazy loud was funny driving around town used to set of car alarms but then i started to have to do lots of motorway miles and it was awful... but if you want loud go for savage.

im not 100% but i think there was a 16v engine and an 8v engine...theyhave different panel filters 8v is circular and i think again not 100% sure the 16v is flat.

so is it the 8v 1.2 you have?????

i went from a 1.2 8v mk2 ph1 to a mk2 ph1 172 and to a degree i had more fun in my 1.2 due to the fact i didnt give a s**t about it!!!! so was gonna cane it around everywhere and didn't have to slow down for corners as it has so little power that it couldnt understeer or go fast enough for me...

mines the alloy bonnet and its f**king light just intrigued i guess to see if renault just did there usual of only doing something on a few 172 as they ran out of the alloy bonnets lol.....can you still get them from renault??

my old 1.2 8v i had 108mph out of it on flat m25 section...... must of taken about 45mins to get to that speed but it got there...didnt like it though lol

i agree with you on the traction control/ yaw control/ stability managment but i would definatly have ABS breaking any day of the week!!!! just makes sense its not taking something away from your driving ability its just increasing the chances you will stop quicker...than if you didnt have it...
