Re: Project 172k Trophy, & its endless track abuse
Dave I have an OMP version of that wheel you could have had for peanuts! Better quality too!
Just read all the writing, you're truly a funny guy. <3
Anyway, the reason you got fire was because (I think) you wired the horn backwards, although...
Not again... ffs.
I don't mean to sound rude mate, but when starting a thread just consider a few basic factors....
You've done the first bit right, and you've got a title, but a bit of text to introduce the point of these pictures would be nice.
If you would then just put all your pictures...
Sorted. Cheers for the heads up.
All members of my South East convoy, the meeting points are as follows
My house (for those local members that know me)
Greenhithe Mcdonalds - Members around Dartford etc
Halfway House A127
There will also be a A21 meeting point for those coming that...
Jeeebus people use a computer.
Adam, sync the blackberry to your computer using the blackberry desktop crap, then export the contact file to a windows address book or Microsoft Outlook file.
From there, when you get your iPhone (the only natural step) you can just import them to the phone from...
Re: The 'TeamAriane' clio... Ghetto goodness.
Get a 182 tailgate, no spraying need treacle.
I've wanted to do it for longer than I can remember, but I never seem to see any titanium 182's being broken.
Look like I'm coming to this Naith.
As long as I can have your autograph? Oh, and on a srs note, I may be on my lonesome, so you guy's had better be welcoming!
I'm sorry JD but you're actually wrong for once.
Not being a ph1 owner I wouldn't expect you to understand, but they get in such a state, I had to go back to 600 to get the worst bits out, then 800, 1200, 1500 and 2k.
So there. :P
x
Steve, if you can't convoy, I'll pick you up mate.
Right, so far this is what I'm thinking of:
From my house, myself and Steve@Rsport depart.
Drive to Greenhithe Mcdonalds (two seconds away from Bluewater shopping centre), meet adam172 and MikeB.
(at this point willdot and 'Dan can meet us...
My sarcasm-o-meter is going mental, I really can't fiddle that riddle out Brian.
If you'd spent ages re-arranging, it wouldn't be an issue as I still could make it. My house warming party has been put back a week, giving us a chance to settle in, so it's all good :D
The sczm meter was going...
EDIT: Just seen it's in the evening. Which puts me out. I'm having a house warming party... bugger! I assumed being a Saturday it'd be afternoon. :(
I'lll still organise everything from my end so that people can make it down together etc, and I'll set up meeting points, I just won't be there to...
Shouldn't be more than 250. Stop driving it now though, or at least stop making it slip, drive VERY gently. As you'll ruin the flywheel too if you're not careful (I did on my 1.2)
In my experience with clutches, big chains, such as Mr. Clutch, are actually often the cheapest.
I'm quite sure it's clutch by what you've said but obviously without seeing it I've got no way of telling.
If you go out, put it in first, and try pull of hard, if you hear a lot of revving, but don't go far and smell a burning smell, then it's 90% the clutch.
Ferry is the way forward, flexibility in times, cheaper, more fun, those who throw up, man up!
It's always a good crack watching a load of noisy car's bumping up onto the boat too!
Robert's your mother's brother.
Only thing, 11. Tighten top mount up, just nip it tight, do not over tighten.
You has a spring compressor to dismantle the existing one?
They do 100% not need to be done up tight. If they've been off that recently, I wouldn't even bother with a garage and would do it myself. Just make sure you take those off whilst the car is still on the ground and the full weight is still on that wheel.
Buzz gun at a garage, they'll touch it and it'll free up, you could struggle for and hour on each side, but you may not have a problem, being a newer 182.
