FFS Dan, I assumed from your post he'd actually got on and done it and posted some pics, so I hurried back a page like a madman to find nothing...
What's taking so long you woman? It's not raining!
Should be fine yes. Just check the fitments inside the hole on your current alloys are the same as the new ones, i.e if they're flat, make sure the new ones are flat, if they're "cone'd" make sure the new ones are too etc.
Down near me Marky boy...
Car looks great Dawn, really like the sport bumper on it.
Why haven't you got the wheels on??? I would have had them on the day after purchase, makes me sad :(
Quite interesting how others countries often have such different idea's.
I like the wheels, a lot, but they'd be 10x better 1" smaller, the stripes on the grille are a very nice touch.
Looks excellent mate, really nice photos and very clean! Just need that rear bench ;-)
I'm looking for some front seats at the moment so maybe we can split a set :-)
Ah ok, I see what you're looking for. Personally I bought some ford moondust silver (really sparkly silver paint) sanded back the handles thoroughly, primered, painted and lacquered them. Looked mint when I'd finished and pretty original looking.
Been covered a lot before mate, so it's well worth a search.
A basic rep would need:
Front Bumper
Rear bumper
Front Wings
Sideskirts
Spoiler (either basic sport spoiler, cup spoiler, or trophy spoiler)
You put a resistor in the airbag connection which stops the light from coming on, as for the horn you either get a wheel with a horn button or buy a indicator stalk from a ph1 which has a horn on it, they're just plug and play.
I can't tell what you noticed from that pic? My iPhone screen is quite dark though.
Just watched the video though, and Jesus Christ!!! Although you seem to have to rev quite some to get them, which is a good thing I guess for road use.
I'm 6"2 and have the seat as far back as possible, fortunatley I seem to have long arms so the gearstick etc isn't a problem, with my smaller steering wheel I can now drive with the seat much further forward if I have someone in the back etc :-)
