Doing so will also slow the RAID down to the slowest of the disks and also the raid size will be that of the smaller discs too. Id look at using one pool for one app and another for a different app.

It will consider the pools as separate , exclusive pools. I do not think it will fill one and the start filling the other. You need to manage this.

What about the vents. Assume they are screwed in?
