basically you want a solid foundation for filler/fibreglass. you try the fibreglass and resin and it'll get messy. sooo...
- scuff up the back of the bumper around the exhaust cut out.
- glue/bond a filler spreader or a credit card or anything like that...

williams bonnet with some simple cooling/air intake lines in would look bang on i think, instead of going ott on fibreglass bulges n crap
i think it would look terrible tbh, its all down to personal taste though, if you like the style of huge bulges and vents ind cut outs then do it.
i like it when the air filter is sticking out of the bonnet in a little bulge thing, that looks cool.
how about get a williams bonnet and have some...

ive never met him, but from his posts i can genuinly say he comes across as a funny bloke and you just take his comments with a pinch of salt? no harm intended imo
i just sold a set of renault locking wheel nuts to my mate for a fiver.
try hammer a socket over it, or price up one of them reverse thread screw things, you drill a hole then start to screw in this big screw, as its tightening your loosening the wheel nut, or goto a bodyshop and get them...
i dunno anyone else who does a fibreglass bonnet for the mk 1 sorry, 200 does seem cheap enough though, if you are changing the bonnet, myself ide get a carbon fibre one, look the dogs on the right colour car.
prima racing do a kit for 5 door, the common terminator kit goes on 5 door. ide say look on ebay as you can pick up a full kit for 300 quid.
bumpers are direct replacements, may need the original fixing brackets. sideskirts are held on usually with sikaflex (bonding adhesive) and self tapping...

see the pictures very very tiny, either thats how the picture is being took on the cam so the res settings needs going up, or photobucket is resizing the image due to it being stupidly large? i dont really know :\ hmm
the actual slight indent and scratch will just be prepped and fillered, primed and sprayed, the part where it sticks out to the tailgate along the edge will need to be heated up with hot ait gun or heater, pushed back into place and left to cool down, easier with bumper off
