silver is the hardest colour to match
but that is f**king miles away if theyre gonna blend into the wings its still gonna be out to the bonnet so in theory theyre gonna be doing a full front respray for a new bumper? i dont think so
sprayed first then fitted. other wise the sprayer will struggle to get the basecoat under the lights, underneath the bumper and various other places. painting the bumper off will mean it will get an even prep, an even basecoat and even coats of laquer all over
tbh only way you'll ever get the closest colour will be to take your petrol cap to a place and get them to mix it up. cars weather, go dull, etc etc, so many factors affect the shade. im sure online retailers can do a decent job of providing the manufacturers colour spot on.. but that dont mean...
gotta diasagree, anyone can throw on an aftermarket bumper and skirts.
wide arch bodykits show true workmanship and you can just telll the quality of the work
yea definatly, fair enough they might have pushed the car hard when they nicked it, but sureley thats what your gonna do when you buy it anyway. cant see any difference myself
wait for a sunny day mate, drop the sunroof out.
take out the centre console, mainly torx bits, take roof handles out, take side plastic trims from inside door apatures where the seatbelts are, then slide the roof lining out the back of the car.
sunroof is held in by about 12 10 mil bolts...
i really cant fault my Piper backbox. Welds are spot on, no rust (in a year and half), it does get dirty though quickly.
pops when coming down through the gears and rumbles nicely, on the motorway its pretty good, can hear it, but doesnt give you headache.
paid 160 delivered
anyone else had...
the splitters a Seat Ibiza splitter. pick them up from any seat dealer for around 20 quid, or ask in the wanted section as they are pretty popular on the mk 1 clio's
no rubbing at all, and im dropped 55 mil and 80 mil.
hard to describe how they sit. i know that on the back i cant get my fingers between the arch and the tyre, maybe 8/9 mil gap at most
definatly wont be problems if you aint lowered...
