Back on topic, just come along to some of our local CS meets this year. You'll see the light!
When I think of MFN, I think of this:

Yup, know exactly what you mean. I may have a tripod from the sister-in-law to have, im sure that will be damn good quality, seeing as the rest of her equipment is, so this may not be an issue.
The one Mike. (yeah, you heard right, MikeDOT, not Jenic) mentioned seems alright for the price...
Ahh good stuff. Didnt think about reserving online, never mind doing it for both lol. Quite a good thing to do.
And cheers for the heads up on the tripod. Cheap and cheerful is what I like to see ;)
Doh!! You know what I mean :o
Just been watching some reviews of both on youtube. Swaying towards the Canon after seeing them both in action. Even more so as today I found that my sister-in-law actually has a Canon, so id be able to use her many lenses and stuff :D

This is looking pretty sweet. Get a £25 Tripod on top. Sorted.
Going to go into Jessops some time this week to have a proper try and both the D5000 and 500D cameras, so that I can make a real decision, finally.
Kept the seats in purely because I use my boot often and dont want to display its contents to local pikeys ;)
Does look better without the seats though tbh.
Thank you!!!! :D
Flamesuits are out in force today ;)
I like it and will provide more protection if I decide to roll it on track so to all the haterz, sniff me now :p
(and can I add, this isnt a permanent fixture. I bought it cheap, so I am going to keep it a while and then sell it on. I also never use the...
Wheel argument again?? Haterz gon' hate ;)
I did have the rear backrests and parcel shelf out aswell, but I like to have the use of my boot, so needed them back in. Did look better without though.
EDIT: Chris_786, it justs sits high on my drive. Its fine everywhere else :o

Picked it up for a steal of a price, so thought why not have it in the car for a bit and drop on a couple of R.S. trackdays to actually see what the 200 has to offer.
Car as it...
Yea just the rear, but I want a bit of padding on the bars that are next to the front seatbelts as they clang against it.
(And in the summer, im doing something very silly..... Me, the g/f and her dog are going to Wales for a few days. I dont want her to drive, which means I am going to have a...
Where is the cheapest place to get the above?
Doesnt need to be FIA approved or anything. Demontweeks have some for £7.something for 2m tubes, but doesnt do the colour I want (Yellow).
Anywhere to look? Brands to go for? etc etc. Thanks.
Good shout that, Mike. ;) Thanks!
Another question, is a 4gb memory card enough? Theres a cheap deal with a Nikon D5000, 4gb memory card and carry case for £480 posted on Clifton Cameras, which would mean that I could hopefully get a tripod for £20, leaving me within my budget.
Oooh...
Went into Comet tonight. They had no cameras that I could test out :( (ffs, another trip out to shops needed)
I think regardless, I have narrowed it down to the two, just need to actually see them in action first:
- Nikon D5000 - Set with camera + lens, 8gb memory card, nikon carry bag, tripod...
Lol... Ive always had a soft spot for Classic Mini's! It's just one of those cars that I will have to own at some point in my life. (Would have to be a proper red and white one for me though :o)
Would be a great addition to the White Details 'garage' ;)
