Where do you work ? If knew people people did this to cars then you obviously work with the wrong people (chavs).
Its all about standards, what is acceptable and not, seems your work mates just have low standards.
My Koni kit should be arriving next week but i am undecided to which spring to use. I have specifically asked for the Vogtland spring which is the official Koni preference (and advised its the best of the one they could supply APEX,Pi etc) . But i have also purchased some Eibach sportlines just...
For the money it costs for a V6 i would have my old EVO (£18k 53 plate)

But would leave it for dead in all situation apart from fuel comsuption.
Please people who can not tell the difference between the two (172/182/cup) and Trophy are the people who carnt really drive to the limits of the car (safely anyways). A 172 Vs a trophy is very different, big gap on the track.
Trophy owners do have a better handling car.
But maybe not better...
What a load of Bollox...! What you are saying is that other road users seeing someone drive "irratically" are the ones that key individual cars. Given your approach you seem to put yourself in this catagory.
People who key cars are are jealous pikey mailto:W@nkers">W@nkers who can not afford...
Firstly im suprised you have taken this approach but hey lets try to move forward.
What do you want for us to proceed ?

Find with mine that on the fast days the accelerator is supersensitive. I.E. just have to touch the accel and your off, engine feels very strong. Otherdays you have to push the accelerator about an inch before anything really happens.
I think on fly by wire throttle (mk2 172 and 182) the TPS...
215/40 do not rub and are very similar to the std rolling radius. This tyre size is also cheep, checkout the prices. Had this size on my cup with eibachs no probs..! Performance was excellent
172 cup dampers are the same as the norm 172, its just the springs that are slightly stiffer.
For road use only, stock dampers and Eibach sportlines or prolines is very good. For track you need shocks and spring upgraded, coilovers are prob better if you want to fine tune your ride hight.
Having new suspension (Koni/Eibach spotlines) fitted in the next couple of weeks can anyone advise on suspension geometry. Will be getting camber correction bolts so Camber can be adjusted.
I hear 2deg neg on the front (rear not adjustable) ??
Any advise / experience welcome.
Thanks...
Where is the best place to get these for a 172 Cup ?
