I have had 215/40 16 and they were very good fitted ok on the rim great performance and just a little smaller rolling radius.
PE2 and GSD3 is the only choice particularly in the wet.
Hey its pay your money and make your choice, everyone is offering there advise and concensus on this, MANY other threads clear point to the PE2 is the best all round road tyre backed up by all the tyre testing in all magazines.
"Cost SEEMS to be a driver as at the begining of your post you...

Ask for Julie when ordering, very helpful 24 hrs delivery
Now your just being silly, same car two different tyres types, easy test only one winner full stop, everyone knows its PE2. Previous thread had exactly the same outcome.
A539 are not as good as PE2s - final.
Oh yes in the wet full sicks are even worse than A539, i think we all know that one...
Who in the NorthWest - Mildlands can set up "properly" coil-overs ? Camber angles (laser align) is there any Clio Cup motorport outfit about ? Will be either H&Rs or KW Varient 2s.

Check the rear brake bais valve it works on weight in the rear, example full up your car and it automatically puts more bias to the rear. Usually sieze and put next to no effort on the rear.
You going the ring in Sept ?
Cup racers use PF97 rear pads trust me they get used, its all about balanced braking. Yes, the rear on the 172/182 are used only 25% but when you have a brake bias valve you would be amazed at the difference in braking performance when you put some more bias to the rear compared to the road...
Prox T1r - latest one are far better than A539 and should be in the same price range.
All tyres tests show the A539 as the worst performing brand name tyre. Im sure their judgement is a bit more scientific and creadible.
If fact both Nangkang / Viking has same of better wet wether...
A539 are sh*te - pay your money make your choice.
PE2 - Excellent wet or dry
GSD3 - Excellent especially in the wet
These are proven to be the best all round tyre.

Mine are on standard discs, all OK. Brembo discs are just standard OEM replacement discs and at 60 quid i would recommend them.
You want be disapointed..:)
OMAR,
Trust me on this one.
Get DS2500 pads from Tweeks (ask the Cliosport man for discount) same performance as the pagids and cost lot less. Under £100 i think.
Brembo (hi-carbon) front discs from GSF £60 plus del.
Equally important is to bleed the brake system (fluid type not major...

Yes it could be move to power, etc part but right forum.
Yes but the explaination doesnt stack up..!
Remember tyres are safety critical parts so there are answers but no good ones yet.
The tyre code on the original non cup pack and the cup pack were the same but just had green dots / lines instead of red one. Some tyress now have blue line green...
If blue dot is true then there deepens the question...!
StuV6 (michelin man) please come to the rescue..........
Regarding Blurprinted engine more like Bluetac.....
Probably right but why some red dot and some not ? Why some have green strip only some have red strip only some have green and red strip. There must be a reason even if its a production code or something...
