I think you'll crack if they're not around on the 1st of August...
Personally I actually prefer black, but that's just me. I imagin the white would be quite nice in the... glass?
Sold it. (iPhone) (got good dolla)!
All my phones are locked to orange (old service provider)
But after writing that I just walked into canary wharf and picked up that dodgy PAYG with the England flag on! lol!
Pansy :rasp:
Good work I say, everyone worry about structural this and that, not being funny, but people still drive old mini's etc, so a clio that's had a knock isn't going to be any worse.
With that attitude everyone should be driving the biggest volvo they can afford.
Dude, it's LOUD, can't believe I still haven't been out in it tbh. Need to make some time mate!
Grumpy was just fine, I was a touch late due to taking your advise and avoiding the a2, when it was clear as day.... git!
I don't see why? TBH I'll do my mrs up against the glass shop front if it makes you happy?
I no longer have a phone and am not getting anything but the iphone 4, so its pretty important for me to get it, as being phoneless is making me rage.
My life has just got more complicated, completely forgot that my contract is in my brothers name but I pay the bill (when I wanted one, I was a meesly student and couldn't have one on my name (credit score=s**t y0)).
This means I can't go into store and upgrade, so unless I can get him off...
I think there's only a few of us that has read every post in this thread, lol!
I have a friend who works at apple (completely forgot) so hopefully he's going to sort me out with one, if not it'll be o2 at 6 a.m.
Is that for the pair or per side? (I'm guessing per side)
If it is what's wrong with it, I'd advise against ever fitting them!
Engine mounts... car went in to have drive shaft replaced a few weeks ago (around 5) and they checked dogbone and top mount, I've since replaced the cambelt cover...
Unfortunately atm is £££ that's putting me off... I've got £100 left until payday, last working day of the month (pauper)
I guess I need to really but I've just been trying to avoid it. :(
P.s no one has answered how to undo the b*****d things yet....
Well if it is the topmounts, they're anything but fine, it's a real big knock. As far as I can tell there is movement in either balljoint now, when jacked up wheels feel solid as.
The only other thing on the MOT was "steering rack bushes slightly worn"
But I doubt that's going to be causing it...
How much are standard top mounts does anyone know off hand? It's driving me mental now tbqh!
The knock seems to be getting worse so its worrying, lol!
Is it just the C spanner to get the compbrake ones off?
Ok, so how the fudge do I tighten these up?
I have a SRS single knock when I brake/sometimes accelerate and I found play in the passenger wheel, I changed the ball joint and this play went away, but alas this knock didn't.
I'm now thinking top mounts? I have compbrake items, but they don't...
Indeed it is, garage had a look at it when they changed my drivers shaft for me (around 5 weeks ago) also, a dogbone mount wouldn't make the steering wheel jerk would it?
UPDATE
Ok so we found the offending balljoint, (it was quite bad, not sure how we didn't notice it) changed it, still clunking! FUCKER!!!!
I think now think it may be top mount, as it can be made to do it if you reverse, brake, go forward, brake, reverse brake.... etc....
I have comp brake...
Queing is for winners, although I can't decide, do i queue at my local o2 store (a relatively small one) or do I shoot to canary wharf or bluewater in hope there will be more?
Ok so costing:
7 months left on iphone contract, £35 p/m 18 months, taking out new 18month'er same:
Total cost of PAYM: £630
7 months left on iphone contract, £35 p/m, switch to £20 simplicity for 11 months (for equality of 18 month duration):
Total cost of PAYG £645
(THIS IS ASSUMING THE...
FINE-A-LEEEEE
That's annoyed me though, I think I want an 18 month, £35 a month'er.
iPhone sells for £300
£140 on contract pay off
£180 for new phone
New iPhone costL £20
I did originally want to go PAYG, but now I'm finding it hard to justify...
Yes mate, the "connecting loom" is just two wires, going to two plugs on one side and one on the other I believe.
Take that little bit of loom out and put in a new wire, then just test it with 9v or something :)
Great stuff, reading these reports makes me smile from ear to ear tbh and I can't even describe how much want to do something similar myself. (When I've been in employment for more than 4 months) lol!
Considering it sounds like you had a bit of a mare, you still finished very well. Keep up the...
