Yeah they are mate, I just need to know what size the bolts/holes are so I can get the right ones from the motor factors. I've already ordered in a 12mm, so I hope I'm right, or I'll be in "le shite"
Should have gone for the mx5!! You could have tried to show off your "drifting skills" again in that! ;)
BTW, I can't believe you got away with the thread title "Back in the Clio gang" without getting flamed.
We're like a motorcycle gang, but gayer.
Same price from my local factors mate, but yeah NWP is a good shout as it gives you the right size straight away.
I'll update this thread tonight when I know if a 12mm fits my ph1!
Cover the window in gaffa tape before you smash, saves it going everywhere. £1 for gaffa tape, £0 for a brick of a nearby falling wall, £20 for glass, cheaper than the aa!
So we'll get two records then?
Most Clios
Most pointless record to hold
I quite like the idea, largely because it'll be mainly members of CS, and I'm all for doing something random as a club to make FCS less stale.
I know I can't buy it from Renault but all the local motor factors stock it, so I guess its worth a try no?
Matt, any idea on my 12mm or 10mm question?
Your explanation isn't brilliant, but I'd check for breaks in the wire that joins the fogs up. Sounds like the earth on that side, you can easily cut the wire up, (i.e close to the fog, and close the connector) then splice some new wire inbetween, or just buy a new joining loom.
Infact I think...
Cheers Fred, I have drill, and if I keep them in good nick (i.e if not siezed) I'll use standard bolts.
One last thing, I assume its the 12mm I want not the 10mm? As there was two options, but I'm quite sure I read somewhere it was 12mm.
Its not an open forum, if you don't sign in, you can't see s**t. Also, seriously? You think all the car theives in the world are just sitting there on their laptop waiting for the day some one tells them how to open a clio's door without breaking the window?
I guess you're the sort of person...
I've never really got to look at your car before, I really like it!
The Turini's suit it down to the ground, I'd love a set of anthracite ones on mine.
Do you get any knocking at all mate? If not then there's probably no issue, but if there is quite a bit of play I'd suggest getting it looked at.
But again, I'm no mechanic.
