TDF are better, trust me ;) Matt use to map F1 engines for a living, his engine builder has 10+ recent WRC wins to his name, yada yada yada ;) not bad i suppose

2 and a bit years later, i still say the same thing, setup another AST'd 182 recently, rear end was good, but the front was still not right IMO

i miss those days of daft things i use to do!

    Hunting big power

oh it can be done, but when you can pick up a clio for £2K no one with a clinically sane status is going to then throw £10K+ at it, that's just silly!
  11. F

    Hunting big power

aye, but if you buy bits from r-sport (depending on what it is you buy) isn't a 100% standard road car part
  12. F

    Hunting big power

not quite, "if" its still like they did on the 730 engines they were all blueprinted, i'll have a word with Neil (the chap who looks after the uk race engine for R-sport) and check, but they were "better" than road car lumps

    Hunting big power

well as far as i know i'm the only person to get 240bhp out of an F4R NA retaining the VVT, its not that hard, but that engine was cira £8K
  14. F

    Hunting big power

    ^and what else?
  15. F

    Hunting big power

an F4R isn't a duratec, and i'd be surprised if a redtop does a genuine 300+ on petrol you don't "NEED" more than 240bhp anyway NA, spend the rest on racing, whores, drugs, learning how to properly drive etc?

Inspection to determine if mechanic at fault

if you want someone to tear them a new arsehole i'm more than qualified ;) (in a non homosexual way!)
  19. F

    Hunting big power

yeah 325bhp NA from an F4R is nigh on impossible unless you have £100K to throw at it

    aux tensioner

^you know the wrong people ;)
  21. F

Which aftermarket 182 exhaust in terms of OEM look??

YS is £200 less and the quality (going off their stealth i fitted today) is equal, plus the YS is lighter, AND you're only down the road ;)
  22. F

    yozza tailpipe on 172 ??

its too much of a f**k about to be honest, you try dealing with customers that have cut their bumper wrong and then say the exhaust doesn't fit, its a mine field
  23. F

    aux tensioner

full kit from the main dealer is the cheapest, i can do them cheaper but by the time i ship it, it works out the same price as buying it direct from the dealer = pointless
  24. F

    Hunting big power

280bhp NA so far on an X85 (197) cup racer in Sweden their dyno
  25. F

    Hunting big power

you sound like Matt's (TDF) new best friend :D
  26. F

    Hunting big power

oh in that case speak to TDF, have about £12-£15K at the ready = 270bhp+ NA with £3K rebuilds every 2000miles (race engines ain't cheap LOL!)
  27. F

    yozza tailpipe on 172 ??

    everything is made to order
