The whole thing will have a respray mate with a gloss black or carbon insert
new rear plate on as old had water damage and stripped the rear out including sound deadening and tar, race seat asap. We'll even get a trampy spec one if it offers support for now.
let mums pikey fella saw the rusted bolts out, took ages, i gave him a potato for his troubles.. then i got on with the blowtorch.
had a rear brake disk and pad change on friday, thanks to adam at Renault Wolverhampton as alwa for the parts, nothing big obviously but it is a progress thread and it is progress. the brakes that came off were dangerous if i'm honest, bearing squeal was louder than the exhaust, and thats loud. Anyway had fred fit them and ordered in some tast mocal lines too... gonna get them fitted next week though as we simply didnt have time to do that due to tony hunter making fred setup his nail of a car for 542634643524352 hours. The fact he bought maccyds and wore shorts made it slightly more bearable mind...
after seeing the effect some camberbolts had on 'burpspeed' last week i have also asked for fred to order us some of them, when fitted we'll sort the tow-out too as opposed to the OEM tow-in.exhaust will be going on too along with bumper.
then all thats left before track time is hopefully suspension, if nothing good enough props up before we go out i'll revert to a cup setup, i'd rather have it sat like a 4x4 than it going quickly on apex springs, hate hate, hate, hate them.
the y0zza decat has arrived in, the whole race system goes on end of this week too
