What he's trying to say, is that without going out and buy SPECIFIC Renault tools, it is not possible to do the job properly. So any average garage would have to go out and buy specific tools, as they more than likely don't already have them, and 99% of garages won't want to do that, so just...

Indeed it is Correct If I were you mate, I'd just cut my aerial down a bit, as it looks better and people say they have no problems with reception, best of all, it solves your problem.

Go into your local Renault, prices on these do seem to vary mate, tbh with car mats you get what you pay for, no substitute for quality IMO. I still have the original mats ATM, but I know I'll be replacing them with something like the above or something of similar quality very soon.

Get out and measure? Just get a tap and measure 15cm from where it'd be butted up against the tb. I imagin the leg length is taken from the centre line. I had a BMC CDA attached to a similar size (I think) one and it was fine.

Fitted the whole kit mate, the v6 box is bigger and gives the best results aparently. Plus to one large airfeed from the big gap right next to the battery is ideal. :) If anyone at a meet soon wants to try it out etc, feel free.
