All of those out there with 8v's should consider an induction kit, ignore how damn awful it looks, and the gaffa tape for the feed, but this was the single best mod I did to my 1.2..... Any filter will do on the end, but a 90 degree elbow towards the front of the engine, and an open filter...

The standard plate is quite nice as it is mate, but the bottom ones will get you pulled 24/7 tbh, I couldnt deal with the hassle every five minutes and worrying every time I drove the car.

Good on ya cracking on, if it makes it a better car, then it wasn't as bad as it could have been :) At least if its all put back fresh it elimates any corrosion/worn wiring problems for a while. :)

Nice little motors these, my mate has one and is looking for a another one (mint one this time) Where's the best place to look? Love the colour of yours.

Its an espace airbox, not a clio one, but its the espace that is regarded as being the best, and according to tuner testing, having a CAF inplace with the v6 box makes as near as no difference, so take it out. It natrually feeds from the gap next to the battery, so doesn't really need a feed.

I could have had a RSI one for a good price, but chose not to for some reason? lol! I think the re-trim's you can get off here are well worth it tbh, so either that, or an OMP leather wheel, will be happening now....
