Google translator is working brilliantly mate :)
Thanks for the positive comment
I think what you dislike, is what I like the most, I like It widen's/butch's up the rear end of the car, although I do think it now needs the 197 RS badge.... all in good time, cash money does not come easy!
I'll comment now, as your opening post looks very promising, with the sport interior etc, and your use of paragraphs and grammar, but then the car scared me a bit, definately not to my taste, then your next post put me in the right place again, sounds like the plans for the car are good, leave...
Bloody loved it with the anth 2118's, those with the crabon diamon would be spot on IMO.
The seats were utter p**n, can't believe you got rid. IMO you got rid of the best two parts of the car :(
Still looks very nice though, just not amazing.
A re-trim can be had for around £100, making it look better than new (IMO) or you can buy a nice aftermarket wheels, but in most cases you lose the airbag.
The ph2 handles are on the back of the seat too, the ones to lean it forward. Or that could just be 182 seats?
The lad above was right though, and unless the seats are totally MINT I'd say £129 was a bit high, Whole sets often go on here for around 120-150
Does look silly low, but tbh I think a lot of people are jealous they couldn't get theirs that low :rasp:
Kudos for using it every day and having it that low. Nuts.
Ok so an update to the project... attended my first meet with the 172 on Saturday, good to meet some more members and catch up with people....
A quick pic from the meet:
And a nice wide arch pic from after the meet...
Tonight I also managed to get my cup spoiler fitted, something I've...
Cheers mate, I think Clart must have a thorn stuck in his japseye or something tbh? ;)
LOL, Well as many will tell you, I'm pretty much the anti purist, I love the ph1.5 look. Ph1 front end is epic, the rest of the ph2 is better, IMO of course.
P.s do the photos work properly now?
Srs? Coming from the guy who put a whole ph2 dash in his ph1???
;)
Cheers for all the feedback chaps, as for the 172 spoiler flowing with the roof, I do agree, but I think the cup spoiler is much sportier. :)
Photobucket is having a bit of an error day, if you press CTRL + F5 it should fix the pics... LOL! Sorry :o
Links are all fixed now, so photos should be right.
So we have the face-lift models, but I've given my Ph1 an ass lift, I finally finished it off today with the addition of a cup spoiler :)
Hope ya'll like, quite frankly, I bloody love it.

I found (only last night infact) that certain types of shoes are awful for it, and others, I have no issues.
Going to the gym last night in gym shoes (nike running shoes) I came out and it was raining, I've owned the car a month and never slipped, but last night on the way home slipped several...
I loved Middo's Ph1, it really showed what could be done to a ph1 to make it look at the top of its game IMO. I haven't since seen a sunflower clio that I thought looked anything special, but if anyone gets one looking like that ^^^ I'll be impressed.
You Adam's mate then? I think I recognise the car (the clio)
You from around this way? Can't say I've seen your saxo....
I like most of it, bar the bonnet raisers, awful. Oh and the fact you only have one bucket seat. ;)
I'm not sure what to do about the badge? The bonnet is smoothed, but I'm thinking about getting one made up in a carbon wrap type stuff, the sticking it on, so its a flat, but is still a badge?
As for the headlights, this I know, its at the top of my to-do list. But I have no access to a PC...
Do it!!!! I'm older than you and still had to pay a fair chunk on insurance (no no claims) but its worth every penny tbh.
Levaz, you were in the others too, but I 'chopped people out, in the other one, it was too much effort.
Lots of brake threads today, one for pads, one for discs, all good knowledge for a new 172 owner, cheers :)
Looks like it'll be brembos and I'll give the yellows a go. :)
Oh and to cap it all off, as with the other thread, anyone got a good link for an ebay shop or similar to get pads at a...
