I’ve never been an advocate of that approach personally. There is no right nor wrong method as long as full control is maintained. ?

Been driving the Megane the last couple days, noticed that the brake pedal is about the same height above the accelerator as the Clio.

Are you height deficient?? I’m only 5’6” (got a fat ass though) and I have my seat on the lowest setting. Sounds to be like your chair needs to slide back a little and perhaps adjust the backrest a little more upright. Can you get someone to take a picture of you sitting in your current seating...

How often do you drive at full throttle for prolonged periods of time? Does your heel stay in the same place and your foot pivots between the pedals?

A brake pedal switch can stop the cruise control from working, but as you’ve said it raises the revs when you press the RS button and switch it into sport mode it sounds more like a software glitch...

My brake sits higher than my accelerator too, I don’t find it an issue though? The other issue could be brake related.... does your cruise control work?
