I quite like the look of the Xr. I’m pretty sure I can live with the retina lcd but the size of the phone in hand will be the test. I’m not a baller by any means and the cost of the Xs is just so high. Hopefully the Xr will be a decent price difference. O2 haven’t released prices yet I don’t think.

I’ve taken a car for mot with next to no fuel in it. Embarrassing worrying it would die on the ramp. Lol. I’m the same as you but I’m panicking more I think. I’ve checked everything I can think and changed bits that needed but it’s always worrying.

A padded coat or similar for when your missus attacks you because it's cold and raining and she needs somewhere to plug her straighteners in.

It did have yes I think. It was a 2003 172.

I don't recall it coming loose at all. As probably won't be taking it off then superglue is a good idea. Will stop it coming undone.

I replaced the one on my 172 with one from eBay for about £15 I think. never had a problem with it.

If I remember correctly there is a grub screw that you tighten. Its such a nice gearknob to use though and massively better than the horrid original one. Just be careful removing the old one. I cut my thumb really badly doing it. Like a man I carried on though (and cried later!)

I fitted a ph1 in my 182 and loved it, I put a richbrook as above in my 172 and it was just as nice. Although fitting the ph1 gearstick in its entirety was easier than removing the old gearknob on my 172. Lol

all my praising of apple, my iPhone 6s has died spectacularly. it did show on iTunes when it died initially and allowed me to do a full restore which I hoped would sort it, it didn't and now it won't even show up on iTunes. gutted.

I always thought the second cat could be removed and the emissions would stay the same due to the larger front cat. I'd be tempted to have both second cat and silencer chopped out and say you removed the silencer. If it passes the emissions they won't be any the wiser.

I had an is200 for a short while. It was a 1999 se model and surprisingly for 153000 miles everything worked. Loved it but it drank petrol like an alcoholic. I fitted a k&n too and it spindled a bit better.

Hi and welcome. Car looks good and some good mods done. Can't go wrong with the fabia splitter, but not sure about the rear. Def need a new hanger for exhaust and some black tabs for the front bumper.

just be careful, on my last 172 one side was genuine and didn't need a compressor but the other side wasn't original or a sport spring, so flew off. luckily I noticed and put it against the bin. health and safety taught well!! but to echo everyone else advice, on a standard 172 you will not...

Awesome little car, it looks so fresh! Plans sound great. Lol at the cost of the sport grille. I’m sure the price has yoyo’d in the years since I bought one from Renault for my 1.2.

I paid £6 for my bracket from amazon. It’s a plate that screws to the wall and then hooks fit to the tv. Holds my 55” led solidly to the wall. For fitting to the wall it’s mounted on plastic plasterboard screwplugs. Had my last tv fitted like that for 5 years and never an issue.

Wow the result of all your work is amazing. It looks like a brand new car. Fate getting your car back as has been said. I’d love the chance to have my 182 back, it’s one of only two cars I regret selling.
