    all the same yes, stainless are better if you want to remove them for any reason, zinc plated generally once they're in they ain't coming out!

    lever the lower arm down away from the hub and look for ANY movment

    ^exactly, if i do a cambelt change i drive the car hard after i've done it, better if something goes wrong in my custody than yours, plus how am i supposed to provide warranty on my work by pottering at 30mph for 5miles?

    ball joints and bushes ok? check tyre pressures too, and check for snapped springs, then get the wheel alignment done (tracking is a word that i hate! LOL)

    its the biggest waste of time ever, i seriously question what the techs at some of the dealerships do all day! I had a car in that had just had "the health check" from the main dealer rear pads were fitted incorrectly and had worn at a 45degree angle, metal on metal on 2 of the pads rear...
