It really is simple and worth doing. I hade sure it sits on the radiator (I think) and not on the coolant pipes that run underneath. (Don't have the illusive rubber band original holder). Makes a really nice noise, just wish my exhaust didn't cover it up so much. Lol

Take it back with a list of the faults (from the garage) and tell them to sort it or you want your money back. Your covered under the sale of goods act.

Also worth mentioning is that mintex rear discs come with bearings and abs rings too and are considerably cheaper than above with pads, I reckon you could do it all for about £120. Front and rear discs and pads.

Pm @G 172 on here he will supply brakes cheaper than that I think.

No unfortunatly not, thanks for the offer though. Lol. it could be your brake light switch as that's a circuit, but it could also be a dodgy sensor somewhere I guess.

Could it be something on one of the rings causing a break in the circuit? Sorry can't help more. Also where abouts are you? I've got the permanent lights and need mine plugging in. Beer tokens obviously!!

Have the belts recently been done? Mainly because when I bought my car i had the normal whine, and since having new belts and tensioners I have a louder whine which I am thinking is the ps pump on its way, probably due to the new tension etc. just a thought. Mine sounds like a mini.

What does the logbook say? My 172 (on the logbook) was described as a 1.4 auto by the insurance company.

Very nice mate, the 200 wheel looks slightly smaller than 1*2 wheel. I bet it's much better to drive with.
