My car is going on Autotrader for sale on Saturday, and i am going to be ordering a Silver Mk2 172, but i ideally need it by Monday 7/10/02, just wondering how long your imported 172s took and where from?? as i have heard of some people getting them in the space of two weeks, but others waiting...

it depends what make your new headunit is, if it is a sony then there should be no problem, you can buy a new loom easy for it.

so thats no sunroof at all? i suppose thats better then, never really liked them anyway, just another anoying rattle after time.

i use it 99.9% of the time (unless i get caught out with no petrol miles away from a shell garage), and there is definately a difference, the car seems to accelerate and drive a lot smoother, and for the extra difference in price it is pointless settling for the normal unleaded. Gaz,

i dont know about the stock at Renault, but Motorpoint have added four brand new V6s to their website this week all at 21,999. Gaz,

im not one for the technical know how about engines, but what does it mean to be runing your engine lean?, and is this sort of thing happening on bog-standrad 172s mk1/mk2s?

maybe its because if you make you car lower, then you will be able to park it behind certain walls and it will be completely out of sight, hence making it less likely to be stolen? lol. £32 in, is much better than £50 out. Gaz,

they are available from Janspeed, and are Italian Wheel Company Alloys, not sure what model, dont think they make them in the chrome finish, i think that is something this guy has had done aftermarket. They are available in the UK quite easily. Hope this helps, Gaz

i just dont park the car in vunerable places, and have had the windows tinted to make it difficult to see inside, that with the alarm seems to keep the stuff in the car (has done for the last year or so anyway). Gaz
