I live in kent so i would bloody hope its an ok area!!!! There are just as you said people who will steal anything!!! I was more annoyed at the fact that i now have to shell out money on one, and the one which i had made fit so nicely is gone!!!
I hope it does appear on a chavvy clio or...
Wow, thanks for the offer thats really appreciated!!!! Bit of a trek for me but save it for me as i have a friend who's going uni up there and i think he's doing two trips so i might get him to pick it up, will let you know in the next 24 hours.
As for how they did it i have absoloutely no...
MY EXHAUST!!!!
I am absoloutely gutted, after being disapointed with it at first but then after a LOT of time care and attention and re-welding the hanger so it fit near on perfect some absolout c**t has stolen it!!
Any one have a mk2 ph1 1.2 standard backbox for sale?? REALLY CHEAP...
Ah, ok, well maybe look for an online manual? Or just figure it out yourself, will take some patience, but i'm definate this is what it is. Mates corsa did the same thing when he fitted a new sony HU so after a lot of effort i just run a new constant live straight to the battery, worked a treat.
Its your constant live, you can test this by testing with the little screw driver thingies that light up when there is power, just put on each wire individually and go through ignition stages, if you can't find a constant live, then just run one yourself straight to the battery, not the best...
The orange dolphin is a great deal and if you go to phones 4 u then the guys ten to bend over backwards and for me they offered to take off 10£ a month (MAKING IT ONLY 25 A MONTH) and then re negotiate that 10 months time to hopefully get an even better deal. Well this is what i got offered...
But the PH1's still just screw out like the ph2's don't they? I screwed mine out the other day, the only difference i can see is that it can be angle adjusted?? Or am i totally wrong? Is the thread still 6mm?
Well, some springs have arisen that i am more than tempted to buy and i just wanted a little advice before i spent my hard earnt (and greatly lacking) cash on. My car looks like a bloody monster truck atm so it couldn't be too much of a small drop.
Basically I have a 1998 Clio RN with 17 inch...
I have 17's and never ever had any problems, even on standard suspension can have 3 (4 can go not that i would :rasp: ) and they seem all good to me. Most people on here would say too big, but its individual taste. But i promise ya, if you put it on 17's you'll want to lower it!!! badly
From what i've heard, using the amount of "back to black" etc that people do on bumpers the paint won't stick unless it is sanded, but this information could not be 100% facual. :rasp:
No one know who's car this is then??? Racing blue if i remember rightly? Standard anthice (spelling) wheels, looking rather tidy, CS logo in back passenger window.
Any one??
Really? How much am i looking at for the engine then? Because i thought it wouldn't be too bad as i would effectively be pay 150 labour.
I was looking at just buying a rsi as someone was talking about selling one soon on here. But sad as it sounds i do love my little 8v just not its performance.
Could never in a million years afford the insurance so the improvement of 35 bhp or so from the 1.4 16v would be a result.
Was looking at a 1.6 rsi engine maybe so it would be from the same time period. Would this work better?
Well, this is going to be a bit of an essay i'm afraid as i want to explain the whole situation... but here goes.
At the moment i have a 1.2 8v 1998 clio RN, as you can imagine not the most fun thing to drive, so i have been looking at changing the engine out for one out the the mk2 ph2's, 1.4...
Cheers for the advice, any clutch that is better than any other? I get a soooper rate with this guy as i started to use him and now he also gets all 12 of my friends cars to work on aswell, so its good for me and him. :D
Bloody wish i could diy, yeah its a 1.2, unfortunately, so if i was offered to have it done for 150 thats a good price? (friend works at a garage)
Cheers
car is 1998, had done 58k when i done it, now at 81, car is driven hard, but clutch not abused, admittedly it was my first car so obv clutch wasn't treated beautifully for the first month or so.
Should it be about on its way out then?
If so is this gonna break the bank? (student)
Cheers for...
Was just wondering how long a clutch should last in a clio? mk2 ph1 RN.
I have had the car for two years now and the clutch was changed just before i got it by my dad, but its already starting to slip??? Is this right?! (before you ask no i don't drive like a tw*t and burn the clutch out)
Is...
Looks amazinlgy nice, but the RB's always do! But i've always loved the original wheels, wanted some for mine before i brought what i did, but i just thought they would be too expensive to get hold of!!!
Of some kind? Flew past it, was sitting in the middle lane, looked rather nice though... Was around 7 PM coming up to dartford tunnel coming from lakeside side.. Any takers?
I seem to spot so many 172's 182's and none are on here!!!
What was under the bonnet of the gold clio? Sleeper? Or just a 1.2/1.4? Interested because it looks like its moving in them pics!
Looks like an amazing day though!
