Looks like some come with backplate on the original version.
On the SE it says this in the description: Block is mounted with enclosed M3x4 DIN7985 and M3x6 DIN7991 screws allowing for reinstallation of factory provided...
Sport interior would be a real nice upgrade, I think apart from that just the general stuff like Silvervisions. Perhaps some Xenons too if you can find them cheap!
Only thing I'm wondering - does the rear bumper fit ok being that you have a Campus? I know the rear looks different, but not sure...
172 is no cut-out bumper (rear), and 182 has 2 holes for exhausts, so depends - makes sense to get the 172 rear.
Fronts are the same iirc.
Would also make sense to get the side skirts too (and RS grille)!
They sell for the same price you buy them for on here, so you're only renting it when you buy second-hand anyway.
If you find one with the maps then it will only cost you the unlock code, then you just sell it on for what you bought it for.
Hmm, changing mobo? Upgrading cpu too or? Just wondered as its an older socket now :)
If it's any use I have a MSI Z77A-G45 I'm gonna be putting up for sale pretty much any time now, it has a celeron in it currently - used it for graphics processing. (less than 6m old)
Even so, an SSD alone will still be quicker, I run most of my main stuff on my SSD + keep the storage on my HDD's.
Pretty much as you said above, I just done use it as a Cache SSD.
So you need a case with 4 drivebay slots?
I'd say go for a normal res (or one that sits on the pump), the bay ones tend to cause vibrations, but its all personal preference!
That would reduce the amount of bay slots you need also then!
Can't see the point imo, I have a ton of hdd's (also), just didn't list them in the post.
If I really need more speed I have RAMDisk available, but in all honesty is there any point? SSD is fast enough :p
Split your order if some stuff is cheaper, assuming you get free delivery?
Think I saved ~£40 by split ordering from OcUK/Scan when I ordered mine.
I'd still recommend Corsair/Seasonic/XFX over OCZ imo.
kaz, you need to buy a decent quality power supply, an OcUK-branded one won't be that.
Only ones I'd buy: Corsair/Seasonic/XFX - mostly all made by Seasonic.
You can save some money by getting a decent 750W/850W psu over a 1000W - it'll handle 2 GPUs fine, and save you some dollar.
Yep coloured tubing, I used to run coloured liquid, but I found it tended to seperate eventually and just clog stuff up, easier to just buy new tubing than having to...
PSU is about the only thing you really cannot skimp on, get a decent one before you kill something!
Added the lighting and a smarter looking rear fan:
Still ruined by the stupid PCI-E cables, so until the company ACTUALLY send the right ones, I'll just make do with this quick photo.#...
Is there an easy way to tell which it would be?
I presume it's power steering, as it's only whining when low speeds around tight corners (though probably normal right?)
I took it up to Fred's for a service a couple of months back, was going to get the Aux done (as its been 3 years now) but he...
I Couldn't Get Past The Paragraph Where They Seem To Like Capitalizing Like A r****d, So I Didn't Get Any Further Than That.
It Will Be A Ktec Special, He Probably Has No Idea Its Not 240Bhp, But Ktec Will Have Told Him That With Some Shitty Printout.
