Also search DW as Wofs Chemicals has recently undertaken a speedboat recently.
P1 followed by C1 should see you well as I believe they are the same chemicals for cars as they are for boats.
You also are unlikely to get the marks that you have inflicted out, due to using such an aggressive grade. The machine polishing part has nothing to do with it. I agree, by hand, you can achieve almost perfect results. But not by using 800 grit.
It's not a wooden door.
Please stop suggesting such high grades of wet and dry.
If you want to ruin your own headlights, that's your prerogative. Do not use anything below 2000 and ideally you'll want someone with a machine polisher to polish out the sanding marks.
Fantastic as per sir!
I'm yet to have a good experience with a bodyshop...
Also when I detailed JonG's capsicum 1.2 from on here, that had pad transfer on the rear and front bumpers!
Or people could ask his budget, how often he will be able to reapply, where he wants to buy from (online or in store), the colour of the car (metallic, flat) etc?
Looks good Mike, thought I was out of touch after your posts in the S2K vs thread!
Not keen on it in silver, red or blue for me. Been considering one but decided against it as not 100% with the looks yet. Although the PS above does wonders for the front end!
I still don't understand the misconception that polishes stay on the paint work? SRP does, granted, but it's the filling particles, not the polish.
SRP fills very well. ADding to it with a glaze will go over it again with more filling oils and clay particles. I wouldn't say you are doubling...
I wouldn't go near a Renault engine bay with anything more than a light sneeze. The electrics go of their own accord, let alone jetting gallons of water at them.
That's more like it!! Exactly what us fellow perfectionists are after - some decent 50:50s!!
Looks great, epic colour! One thing if I may? I found RMG to not work as well via rotary as by hand or DA. Possibly heat related. Might be work experimenting chap.
Recently looked into this and after going with a Vodafone deal, I sent it back and bought a white 16gb wifi model.
My laptop now has dust on it (and I'm a clean freak). You really won't look back, and using a friend's iPad1 last night, the 2 is significantly "smoother".
All reasons why I wanted C2. I can't clean the car that often now and certainly can't detail it as I'd like.
C2 goes everywhere incl plastics metal and glass. The ease of use and looks sold it for me. Also, so far, it's done three months without top ups and still looks and beads very very well.
