Do you do short runs?
The motorway test seems fine, i got 50mpg when i did it two days ago after a service, and average 32mpg when i do ~20-30 miles a day!
All depends how long you are in town, it will be low if you're just sat in traffic for a long time!

brake discs cant fail by condition unless they do not provide the required breaking force i thought?
mine were shockingly corroded and still passed, at Renault!!

theyve just tikd me the rear brake pads are on 5% and it wiuld be 136 ti change them, think ikl give that a miss!!!

Drip there is probably a good thing tbh, the gasket is like a gauss rather than a full sealing one so I guess it's designed to allow that? No idea really.
Got mine booked in for a service on Wednesday, may see if Fred has a spare few minutes for me after it and see what he thinks is the problem...
Do you have anything come up on the dash or does it just say "Set ---" ?
I've noticed if you're at a too low speed (i think under 20mph) you can't set it!
