Can't see how it would? All he seems to have done is added an exhaust system and wrapped one of those cheapo ebay manifolds (i assume). To be fair he's a "Renault Master Technician", and from my dealings with Renault i'd say his over-exaggerations fit the bill!

Sort of related, my Yozza (cat-back) was blowing from the same join, so went in 2 weeks ago to have the seal done (from a local garage), and noticed yesterday it was blowing again. Not sure what to do now, I need to go back but also wondered if it was common!

Being plugged in all the time it'll be trickle charged all the time you use it, plus storing at max capacity decreases life too! Best bet is to use it like a laptop, only charge it when needed! With it being dangerous to discharge it, I dont think they're allowed to go to an unsafe voltage so...
