I got a 550D last Monday and can say it's an awesome camera, I'm also a first-timer into DSLR's :)
The stock 18-55mm lens feels good, and I'm currently looking at getting a 50mm and a 55-250mm!
Surely you'd be better off just buying another drive and backing up onto that?
DVD's are old hat, waste of time and effort when you can plug a drive in, backup in a few minutes and job done.
That F22 (?) first picture is bloody amazing. I also try & go to Fairford airshow every year and have just got my first DSLR so am hoping to get a telephoto before it's on this year :)
Well I went for a 550D, I liked the idea of rotatable screen but for the difference in price I just didn't see it, maybe that's just me!
As I'm aware they're essentially the same apart from that and some other minor things, so went for the 550D :)
I was actually going to get the 600D, but...
Hey,
So I've been contemplating getting a DSLR for the past 6 months but only until now had the funds to do so, though I'm completely undecided as to which model would be better suited for me.
A few months back I managed to nab a Canon Powershot SX210IS for dirt cheap from the Canon outlet...
Finally got them off, right now I've also found sticky pads behind them so these are a right b**ch to get off, what is a safe substance that will get rid of the sticky layer that is left? I'm putting on velcro so need to ensure it's nice and flat otherwise it will just come off!
edit: Would...
Seems like a silly question, but the two usual "screws", or at least I thought they were screws have some sort of triangle head on them, do they just pull off or something? Or do I actually need a special screwdriver just for the numberplate?
I've got some fancyplates to put on and am surprised...
It's a pretty stupid attempt, they've now caused TPB to gain the most hits in one day and have far exceeded previous records, plus you only need to use one of the other 20+ domains all pointing to it and you're away again.
Oh and the fact the whole of TPB is 92mb zipped, so if you want...
