I actually miss my Clio because I now look like a randomer in an Audi following a load of Clios at meets! Used to love being in a group of 10 or so, pootling along.
I can only think of one meet that I've attended where I didn't feel safe with the driving in the NW.
Shame I didn't get to see yours Gopher aka Carbon Copy ;)
No ta!
This, but I don't like the Born Slippy lube - fine it too expensive. Megs No16 is my weapon of choice. Stick to the Megs Quick Clay Kit lad. At least you get some decent lube, clay and MFs.
Megs. Done.
It won't perish it, but it will be a pain to remove. Don't. Just don't.
Paint work, no. Plastic trim with polish/wax stains, yes! It will remove it.
Hubba hubba, or is that hubba bubba ;)
It smells nice.
Yes, you can put it on your tyres.
But that doesn't mean it will a; look good or b; be a good idea.
I could put it on my steering wheel - it would make it more shiney, but it isn't a good idea.
Fella you need to have a look on the Polished Bliss site and at their guides.
But basically;
Wash mitt
Two buckets
Decent Shampoo
Decent towels
Quick detailer
Clay
Polish
Sealent/wax
Applicator pads
Polishing pads
MF buffing towels
I agree with the first bit!
Second bit, just means I doubt the polishers' abilities from previous trials, but I'm happy to have my doubts (scepticisms ;)) reversed :)
SRP as said above is a filler polish. It does still polish as it contains cutting particles. However, it is by no mean a swirl corrector, more a masker of.
I agree, but have personal preference to Menzerna 203s with the same hand pads :)
I am very happy to have my scepticisms put to rest lad...
It's still a risk lad. And to be honest, for the price of a deep pile towel, you might as well spend the extra few quid on an automotive specific towel.
Ha, lazy git! It is well worth it for other products, but depends on how you see it, your budget and how far down the slippery slope of detailing you want to go!
