generally speaking by opening the phone you've voided it, but whether they can tell or not is a different question! if you used a genuine screen you may be able to get away with it, but i certainly wouldn't say to them you replaced it if you have something else go wrong!

I assume that kindle (fire) with the coloured display isn't e-ink and rather just your bog standard LCD/led screen? If so for me I dont think it's really that suitable of a reader compared to my current kindle, a good way to induce major eye strain if you read alot!
