    De-icing

This never worked with my Clio, but have a feeling it was something to do with the way the heaters whistled when going above 30mph... Will try it with the Audi!

    De-icing

Can be hazardous - freezing to boiling in one go. If you do this, you're actually better off using cold water. Still works (5'C rather than -X'C) but doesn't cause the temperature shock!

    De-icing

Left on, not good. They could burn through an LSP you have and possibly stain. I know this is not what you want to hear, but I get up 10 minutes early and turn the car on... as I did this morning. No scratching, no chemicals and warms the car up (for the engine/oil and me!!). You can put...

Couple of pics of the rep

Cool, what else have you got planned? I went down the same route, but regret it now. Too much money spent, but then again, I still loved that car. I don't love my new one in the same way. Have fun!

    Brick dust?

Did someone say T Cut? Hi Kayleigh, you well? Nice to see you've survived CS thus far! Re the brick dust, the first thing you need to be careful of is moving it around your paint, as I'm sure you'll have guessed. The clay has the potential for this, so I would hold off on this idea to start...

Gtechniq C4 - permanent trim solution inside

Chap this would be right up your street with so much plastic. It will actually look and bead like paint work with wax on it!

    Claying wheels/sealant

Polish lad. SRP, 203s, Lime Prime etc. Wheels are painted, therefore (in short) care for them in the same way :) So wash, clay, wash, dry, polish, seal. Obviously a hi temp sealent, however, due to the heat the brakes create. Something like Poorboys Wheel or FK1000p.

    Karcher Pressure washer

Keep an eye on Tesco and Argos buddy, lots of deals, especially at random times of the year (like winter). Not sure on the adaptor, I wouldn't risk it personally. I might have a buyer for your old one TBH lad, so keep me in the loop. All I've heard is reliability and build quality. Other than...

    Karcher Pressure washer

How long is a piece of string, my friend :( you can go on forever, but personally, don't see any need (at our level) for anything more than a Karcher 3. something. So circa £150. The usual "get what you pay for" occurs lad. We bought 2x 2.**s and they both failed within 2/3 years due to frost...

    Karcher Pressure washer

Motor failure, most likely. As above, model req'd. If it's a 3.** and above, the motor can be replaced at not too great a cost. If it's below a series three, new pressure washer time I'm afraid :(

    Dodo blue velvet

You will need to polish after claying buddy. It is also worth mentioning that the wax is not likely to last long - a; because I find all but SuperNatural very average waxes, in terms of longevity and b; because the wax has nothing to bond to. A decent IPA wipe down after polishing will provide this.
