Are you actually being serious? Do you not understand the term "burning"? if the glass gets too hot, it will go opaque. Don't be a fool, tell someone to zoom over it with shite polishes and say "as no paint to damage".
Moron!
Tommy, have a look in the detailing section, there was a recent...
I still wouldn't mod this, lad. Fair enough, you're clearly enjoying it and that wee prick sofaboy is obviously sold as well (<3), but modding something in warranty is nuts.
Enjoy it, leave it be. OEM is the new modded. And that's coming from the ex-owner of the most modded 1.2 in the NW lol!
Can I be honest Tommy?
You don't. At least not on your own car. This really does require skill. It is actually quite easy (as it sounds, it's just like sanding wood) but it is just as easy to c**k it up.
Have a really good read of the above, then get a practise panel, get good at doing it...
Be it the right decision or the wrong decision "in my spare time I did the Cambelt etc" puts me off.
Oil, fine. Billy doing the cambelt in his spare time. No thanks.
On the Panzer family, I swear by it for mid range correction and, as Jim has done, haze removal. For larger defects, 3.02 IP is my next stop, on the same pad or a higher cut pad.
Also to note, they are not oily like the Megs 80/83 twins that I started out with on the French mobile.
Kev, re your email, I find the 3M vs 203s very easy to use. Similarly to 3.02 IP with the Menz Orange pads. I haven't found a decent working polish that doesn't dust, but these are certainly not on the SRP dust levels - far from it!
Lovely Jim, glad you spotted the backing plate issue! Had a friend MMS me last night with a picture of a disaster waiting to happen, very similar to your photo!
re the C4, it really is a wonderful product. I am (secretly) hoping my photo wins the competition as I am very up for buying/testing...
Once you've bought it, you can use it with all your future cars. And your family's cars. And your friends cars etc.
You will "grow" into new polishes, pads, waxes, machines etc. Welcome to the slippery slope!
