stuck a post it note with 12432 miles on it.
When I got the car back they had scored it out and wrote 12653.You joking? They actually did that? Did you complain...
As sweltch says mine has got progressivly worse as my Toyos have wore down, after a few miles on a new set of Toyos I had trouble making the wheels spin in the dry and even sometimes in the wet too.
Just ordered a new set of uniroyal rainsports so I will see how they feel.

are there any suspender mods? Or tyre improvements.
Im not sure adjusting your suspenders is gonna make it any better.
The chances of two tyres going at the same time are astranomical.
More than likely,
1) there was some debree on the road that caused it or
2) the tyres were fitted incorrectly to the wheels.
Ye but you dont need to keep adusting the temp controls.
I drove back from london (where I bought the car) to edinburgh with my GF and a mate. I asked them about half way up if they were too cold/warm.. there replys were "just fine actually".. its great no-one has ever complained that its too...
If it was ice the Traction light may have come on, but not the ABS and SERV lights. I wouldnt worry about it if the lights dont come on again, if they do take it to the dealer.
Fine, heats up very quickly, try sticking it on 24-5 and you will soon notice the heat.
It should only take 5-10 minutes for the car to heat up enough to start giving you warm air.
For example my work is only 5minutes away and just as I am getting into work the car is heating up nicely...
Well I wouldnt go slamming the brakes on, just drive at 30mph or something and gently apply then take off then apply a few times, that will scrub off the rust.. its normall to get it on the brake disk if left for a while, the brake caliper may be a problem if left for long periods, best get em...
Sounds like it detected a fault in the abs sensors. If the light didnt come back on again then I wouldnt worry about it, I have had the serv light come on just cause my car was parked on a steep hill and it thought I was low on oil.
In perspective though it wasnt really a big problem with the car, Yes this kinda thing shouldnt be happening.
Glad you got it fixed, not sure about any long term problems that you might have, dont think so though.
Enjoy your car and dont worry about anything going wrong, thats why you have...
It is meant to split the air from the air that goes up and above the car and the air that goes under the car.. hence splitter :)
Although TBH the cup one does no such thing, and IMO is just there to look nice (which IMHO it doesnt) I would have the Cup spoiler over the 172 one though.
When you get your windscreen replaced, you could always get it replaed with a 172 one... most of the time unless you specifally tell them they fit a 172 one anyway as most dont realise the cup is a thinner one. Plus you will get the added bonues of a heat reflective, sound deadning windscreen...
Claiming on your insurance wont do anything.. other than you having to pay that excess. However if you feel it was a manufacturing defect then take it back to renault and try to argue your case.
Thats what happens when the make glass thin...;)
Also it really would depend on what tyres you got.. I would imagine you could stop a lot quicker without the standard contis on. although having said that if both mk1 & mk2 had the same tyres on the mk1 should stop quicker.. that being said there are a lot of changes between the mk1 & 2 with...
Yes I would Imagine the are too heavy for the cup http://erc.qmuc.ac.uk/rolleyes.gif
Xenons Rule ! I really do feel much safer driving at night. Especially on crappy roads with no cats eyes, or country roads.
Mate, if thats what you want, go for it.. its your car and if its what you want do it, personally I think it could look quite smart.. but you have to be carfull not to upset the lines of the clio or it could all go horribly wrong.
