Being a spray doesn't dilute the product, necessarily. It's not something that I have ever used, but it is known to be a useful product for hard to remove grime.
Sounds pretty good buddy. Any glass cleaning/metal/plastics/rubbers etc?
One thing to mention, may well be a mis-type; Final Finish needs a finished pad. Not a polishing pad :)
Looks good. Quick tip in future to save you time and money (costs of tape); take the side bump strips off. They pop backwards and forwards and off. Much easier!
A one off deep clean will help with that :) wash down, cut back, sealed up and the brake dust should wash off with warm water and a decent mitt/assortment of brushes.
Will read it properly later, but looks like great results for a limited time correction. Interested to hear from Ads about the longevity, as mentioned above. Nice colour as well, chose well.
Motor could be knackered. The good news is that because of the line (3 series and above), the motor is removable and serviceable, rather than being plastic welded in.
Take to the nearest Karcher outlet and describe what's up. They will most likely charge, but it'll be far more cost effective...
As above Alex, the DA won't generate enough heat to harm the plastic panels on a Clio.
Ph1 front bumper, spoilers and CF. CF never seems to be quite as easy as you hope :(
I can't stand these cars, but being a massive project man myself, I love it. And you've been cleaning, so that buys you my respect!!
Great stuff buddy, keep it up!
In that case, yes. The rust is not something you will be able to combat sadly. The simple fact is the amount of water and salt etc that gets thrown up makes it very likely that you'll get the rust re-occuring.
May I suggest, once you've managed to sort the locking rings, that you cover the rest...
Tar remover for the tar spots that will almost certainly be on the body of the dampers. Also, re the rust, a stiff brush and brush the rust off. Where is the rust? On the body of the shock or on the coilover thread?
It's not hard Dean, I promise. Ensure the area/panel is well lubed up and if you feel the clay starting to stick, another spritz is required. Yes you can go both ways, i.e. over lube and under lube the area. But you have to be pretty stupid to do the latter!
Always move the clay in the same...
^^this basically. I tend to take it case by case. This is not meant to be offensive, but some people's opinion of baked on is another person's "simples!" :)
I would start with something like APC as you have done. If that has no effect, step it up to something like AG Engine and Machine Cleaner...
