Not keen on the wheels on this ricer mobile ;)
Looks bud pal, you still enjoying it? The new rear end sounds good - does it get as dirty as the Monahoe??!!
"You now have an amazing amount of marring in your paint work due to a monkey using a serious cutting compound with little skill and a wool pad. You will also notice how well the paint washes out, next time you wash the car or go through rain."
In short, get it repaired properly. 150-200 for...
Oh and with regards to holding the machine, you will get more and more use to it. I bet the steering wheel and gearstick/handbrake were in funny positions/felt weird to start with, but you've got the hang of that now :)
Alex, QD or water as Markie has said will aid this. There are products out there called Pad Lube I s**t you not. There is always a niche for new products. But the above work just fine without the £11 bottle!
As Markie has said, it does sound a litte more like spatter than dusting. If you are...
Ah by the way this convo is going have you managed to sort the Bora Ads? Can't think of many "newer" detailers that I would rather have touch my VAG (paint you dirty buggers).
Experimentation is where it's at my friend.
Dusting is just a hazzard of the Menz polishes buddy. Some put up with it, find ways around it, or switch to other polishes like 3M (Ali has recently).
Re the passes, far more required buddy. Like 12. At least. Because the DA just does not provide...
Lol, Jamie, very nice lad.
See I've seen that before but always been put off by my experiences with RainEx and other lesser names. But reapplying wax every month is tiresome for the beading it gives, although as said, over 5/60 is awesome watching the droplets move.
Will have a read up -...
Yeah I'm sure that will be fine buddy, but just remember - quick washes/details are where marring occurs. QD is really only good for dust, rather than grime and dirt and you may have caused marring in the paint work.
Depends how anal you are buddy, but with a Black Gold, I would try and do all...
Where's that facepalm picture ...
Ideally buddy yes, because, if you think about it, any mud/dirt/grit/dust particles that were on the paint work, due to your drive to and from work, will have been swirled around your paint work as you applied and buffed off the wax :(
Yeah, Markie knows I don't like DODO.
Sounds familiar buddy. New OEM yes on suspension. And remap/engine/braking mods. But no more suspension mods for me!
Lol, not in the slightest, still see all except their SN waxes as sheite! LP is great as well, but not a lot else does it for me!
Nothing wrong with that Kevin.
Lol Gaz.
OK buddy, start off with something like Meguirars All Purpose Cleaner and aggitate with a brush. Failing that, something like WD40 may break down the substance as it removes waxes/polish stains from plastics. Again, failing that, try the JML magic sponge (no I'm not joking!).
