A sealent is like a liquid wax, i.e. it seals the paint after polishing it. Think of paint needing lacquer to last against weather, washing etc. The sealent is like a temporary "lacquer". Sealents are more resistant to weathering than waxes, so last longer. Hence me mentioning if you won't get...

Don't use powder as Markie said, as it won't disperse as well as a liquid cleaner. Other than that, you shouldn't have an issue. Mine don't last long. Few uses and they get demoted to glass duty, then wheels, tyres etc. Then bin!
