Yep it has, iirc someone here bought it, they swapped the number plates for ones without the red bits on them. Strange though as every time I see pics they are as of how prima had the car. It has been for sale about for times now.

I quite like the refurb, but i'd sort the centre cap out, I don't tihnk it looks right.. Some mk1 meganes ran ph2 valver alloys (speedline vega's, 15inch) Some ran 16's - the centre caps have a recessed circle on them, i'm not sure if they are vegas though. Like this They do look alike apart...

I'm so glad I never bought a 172 a few years ago. The bad news is i'll have to tell my dad that according to cs his car is worth about a quid (it's a 52 reg 172)

In response to my question where £200 came from, this is the genuine sport grill. and i went in to price one and they told me they were £200! so thats why!

I saw that on here last night, the sellers taking the p*ss. I emailed them to ask how comes it 'worth over £200' when you can buy them for £42.00 :S

Apart from it being a bit far from the kerb, what's wrong with it ?? Putting the wheels towards the kerb makes sense.

195/50 r15 sized tyres are cheap as for a decent make, i'd look at going for that size. Maybe get some goodyear eagle f1's ?? I had them & rated them a lot. I've no idea on lowering though.

Take it to L.A.D. motorsport & get one of their 200bhp super duper conversions. :lolup:

I'd have gone for a plain normal plate tbh. To me smaller plates on cars with big recesses look a bit daft. At the end of the day you like it so that's what matters.
