Yes, epic at hiding marring. Used it on a recent BMW 3 series tourer that . . . well, bucket, sponge, grit etc for 9 years. Orange actually :( The Werkstat is good stuff.

Depends pal, but sounds good. I would just be worried about any DIY spraying of parts on the front of the car, i.e. stone chips :(

    Selling Clio 182 seats!!

I thought the interiors use to go for around £400 so £200 for the fronts sounds about right . . . unless they've dropped in value recently.

I presume you mean the arms, and if so, would it not be cheaper and less hassel to buy new/newer used ones? The paint will eventually chip off and look 1000 times worse . . . ?

    Cleaning The Inside of Windscreen

Fast Glass and a clean MF. Done. If it's going streaky you're either not using a decent product, a dirty MF or you're applying too much product.

Best way to clean plastics like bits round thge mirror cap, splitter etc...

Come over and I'll sort it. It does work, old Clio was full of them when I picked it up from Renault.

Best way to clean plastics like bits round thge mirror cap, splitter etc...

Steven, the marks I presume are cloudy/white wax and polish marks, yes? If so, you need to remove these before following the man aboves advice and protecting/dressing the plastics. The best option I have found (through testing numerous myths etc) is WD40 and a lot of elbow grease with a MF...

Scratch X is funny stuff - some swear by it for big scratches. I guess personally I would rather machine polish as I know I am correcting it, rather than hoping. Get some pictures up and we'll come back to the topic.

    Couple of questions about cleaning

I bought some purely for comical value! It says it's a wax and polish in one . . .which isn't physically a good idea, you do one or the other. Personally I would stick with Poorboys Wheel Seal, as it's one of the best I've tested.

    Couple of questions about cleaning

Not a problem chap. Yeah you can clean pretty much everything with E&MC, it's a great product and always in stock in my cupboard! You can clean up hubs, arches, wheels, calipers etc with it. Re the wheels, clean them properly, clay them, wash, polish, seal, done. Then you can wash with soapy...

    Detailer Southampton area

For what you are looking for, I would suggest looking over on Detailing World. They will have a decent idea of locals. There has been talk of a trip down from myself and a few other detailers, as there does seem to be a massive demand in the South, with very few detailers making the most of the...
