I have raced an Astra GTE 2.0 in my old pug 205 1.6 GTi, they are not as fast as I thought. Couldnt pull away from me till about 120, then it just crept infront of me moving away at a snails pace. I couldnt really go any faster as that was pretty much the limit of the car.

driving in the wet sucks though.. and you really shouldnt be pushing your car that hard in the wet. I know for me when it rains i take it easy.

I rate the 106 GTi handling better than the clio/172 as standard. I am really considering lowering my 172 now.. too much body roll

15s suck.. Renault changed the gearing because the final drive on the mk1 was to long.. and it counteracted the slight increase in weight.

my horn is also hard to press.. i think its cause of the design of the new steering wheels and the fact there is a 2 stage airbag inside it.

maybe he is gonna film his clio with the camera ? ;) depends on your budget but if you want to do full digital editing make sure you get a camera with a dv in/out. its important to get the "in" part so that you can send your edited (on premier) footage back to the camera digitally.

nope.. both the sensors are in the same bit ... try it.. put your wipers on auto then spit or put some water over the sensor, now cover the senser up with your hand and your lights should come on. now go wash your hands cause they will be covered in spit and dead flys that were stuck to your...

yes but the rain sensor and light sensor isnt anything to do with the windscreen.. the sensor is in the bit where your rear view mirror attaches to the window. just make sure its re-attached to the window Not had a problem..scratches wise..

did you sell your 172 for a cup ? whats your opinion of the Cup vs. 172 then ? obviosly the interior isnt as nice but is there a big difference in the handling/acceleration department ? is it a much more twichy car ?

well as a 172 owner who is about to get a 1.2 dynamique for 3 days (on april 7th as courtesy car) I will post here and give me honest opinion about it. Should be a laugh..

they should also by law have the airbag stickers on them.. look at your original and you will see what i mean.

at the end of the day the clio won because of the better driver.. if the driver of the clio had of been in the CTR I think the CTR would have won.. they are so close when it comes to performance.

If i were you i would have begged for a bigger fine and less point (or no ban) you never know they might have had sympathy for you. I am not going to lecture you about speeding cause we all do it, and we have all pushed it at some point or another over the ton.
