D40/D60?
That lense won't autofocus with those, would need an AF-S lens like:

If we were expecting winters like this every year, especially with a few weeks of snow, I'd definitely get a set of steelies and winter tyres.
Would prob have to jack the coilovers up though for more clearance lol don't think it'd go this high though
What about if once this policy expires, go for just under 2 years without insurance, then in your third year insure the car (the extra age should make this the cheapest year to insure I'd assume). Hopefully get another NCB, and get insurance when you finish uni, therfore only paying for one year...
Lol fair enough mate.
Hmmm, well I'm quite a logical person but have only looked into how to adjust the camera settings for different pictures, maybe I should look more into how to set up a picture... I've got a pretty mad imagination so will have to learn to factor that in somehow too...
Sorry missed this post. I didn't mention money, I said memory lol I suppose the roughness is to be improved upon as you get through the year? I'm still very much learning with my camera but I need ideas too at the moment.
I'd never think of things like that, how do you think of things like...
Mine went up one year even though I got an extra NCB, they said prices had increased at a higher rate than the discount of the NCB. I got them to give 3 further discounts and were still too high.
Interesting info Dave. That has never crossed my mind at all about, so cheers for posting and bumping, missed it first time round. It makes sense to get a half cage with fixed buckets and harnesses.
Don't do it, stick with turinis!
Depends on your insurance company if you change though, if you're with a mod friendly one like Adrian Flux, then no change. If you're with a normal company, I'd guess it wont be mega but you would have to pay something, why not ring them and find out before you...
Some great shots in here! My 365 has fallen to pieces already, I don't have the effort, time or memory to do interesting shots everyday, I'll just end up taking shots of things in my bedroom before I go to bed to make up the numbers lol I think a 52 would suit me better.
I think I will give a 365 a shot, but some will end up being taken on my iPhone, that's ok isn't it?
Do people normally limit themselves to one shot per day/week or pick their favourite of the day/week?
Sounds right.
If there's something like this, it looks like speaker output from stereo/amp into one pair of pins, then tweeter connects to another pair of pins and woofer to the final pair.
yeah, it's rare to find a tv output will change the standard audio outputs, or you could blow the amp I imagine. Other options are headphone amps or just get a cheap second hand amp or a cheap hifi that has inputs.
The two above would do great to connect earphones. Only thing is if the TV volume would adjust that, from memory they have a set level output because an amp would do all the work, but may differ tv to tv and for a few quid worth a try.
I've had the GSD3 all round when I first bought my 172, very good in the dry, lacked a bit in the wet for my liking, then I put two PE2s on the front, grip difference in dry was better and a big improvement in the wet, although these were 205/45/16 so a little wider. They're the only 2 higher...
I've got the Pro Race 1.2s 16" et38 too and lowered about 50mm all round, no issues what so ever.
Sorry, haven't got pics that show off the difference much, best I have since fitting them. They do fill the arches much better than standard wheels.
IIRC 172 cups ran et38 as standard...
ABS is useless in this weather, I find it better to pump the brake pedal while engine braking.
Gutted for you mate, but best choice out of those two IMO.
