I noticed little difference apart from an increase in road noise, so either more volume needed as said or enjoy the noise of the exhaust, ktec stealth sounded so much better with the above removed!
I think ph1 172 is around 1035kg, ph2 1110kg.
Thanks some more fellas. Good to see more appreciation for the GTI! 310ft/lbs gets my appreciation!
Unfortunately, not free that day. Will have to make sure to keep a big event free though, get some Monacos together!
It's a JMS-Tuning logo, but you can only get it when you have work done...
I don't know much about the 38, but the 28 was awesome. Had a few plays with it and it impressed. Much better than a point and shoot, long range zoom and all not too big. But not DSLR quality. I was very close to getting the 28 as I thought it was awesome value, DSLRs get expensive. The 28 was...
Thanks guys! Monaco is keeping well. A few blemishes here and there but will hopefully be getting a detail from MagpieV6 soon so will be even better. In the pics, its only had a good wash after a couple months of being dirty, hopefully James will approve now! A bit lucky it cleaned up so well...
I know what you mean. The golf is awesome, verrrrry quick too. But mines seems subtle compared to it. Only plan for a smaller plate, Pug splitter and to fit your cup spoiler, haven't got round to getting it painted yet! Maybe some black pro race 1.2s too.
I'm running standard disks and rear pads, front DS2500 and braided lines with Castrol dot 4. I've been bedding the pads in this week and they stop so hard, and best bit is you can tell they're going to get better still. As they get warmer, you can feel them get better and better, can't wait to...
Looks nice mate. Did you have any issues with the fronts scrubbing? I had 205/45/16s on mine and mine scrubbed loads on the bumper bracket.
I'm loving mine too, like you say no body roll and hold the road well, with very little reduction in ride quality.
Got the PE2s and bedded them in. Fooking awesome, so much grip, 205s though compared to my 195 eagles. Turn in is awesome. However, real bad scrubbing once lowered on coilies, think it may have been the width on same profile so bigger circumference. So stuck them on the rear and put my 195...
I've read on here that removing the arch liners completely at the front leaves a risk of hitting one of the belts. I just cut a portion of mine away. You'll see a noticeable bump in the archliner at the front side of the front arches. Just get a junior hacksaw and cut the bit that goes around...
I've just had my front tyres changed to wider than my rears, now they're worn in I don't like it. Same as you, 205 PE2s and 195 eagle f1s. Great turn in, but it's not confidence inspiring around long bends at speed. The back felt very light last night and a bit skippy, although I was covering...
I though Bernie said if Donnington isn't ready or good enough, then F1 will be back at Silverstone.
Edit: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/8110859.stm
It'll be shame if Donny isn't good enough, hope it gets all sorted to see a GP there next year.
Great Monaco mate! I like the bullets and car sits so nice with the lucky low drop and splitter. Is the 307 splitter the cheaper one (£30ish from pug?).
Love the number plate too, that's what I'm getting for mine.
