Don't know if I need a caption for the above, but I'll go with:
Upon reflection, old school can be just as cool as new school.
Yeah bit crap I know lol
For Cookie:
Once you've taken all the Sony crap off and got it all set up, use Norton Ghost to make a image of the drive and save it to an external HD, then when the system is feeling slow just reload the image. I've used it a few times and its much quicker than loading Windows, drivers, etc...
In my experience, a week or so for the offer, then a couple of weeks for the cheque to arrive.
Try to get a higher value with proof from autotrader adverts if you can, I've heard you'd have to prove it was higher value than their offer to actually get more.
That's the ones. I think all tyres have mixed revies, just seems the PE2s reviews are more towards them being good. Wished I'd spent the extra £80 getting them now.
Not sure as to why they've worn in the middle quicker then.
Heard mixed reviews about Toyo T1R. Heard some good stuff about a particular Conti but can't remember which one.
Have they been over-inflated throughout use? Normally that would cause wear in the middle as they balloon out. Personally I'd still change as tyres are the only thing in contact with the road.
Good news on the PE2, I'll defo get those then.
I had a noise that sounded like metal scrapping, really spine-chilling. Turned out the ends of C-clamps for my exhaust were too long and scrapping on the bumps.
If you're going to get different size tyres, get the wider on the back so you have more grip there.
I've got Eagle F1s 195/45/16 all round and they are good but I can't help feeling PE2s will be better from what I've read on here. I've never driven on them so can't really compare but I think...
Looks great. I'll be sorting out some brake cooling in the coming months and love the Cup Racer ones but am not paying that amount for them! Yours look really good and for, the price, are amazing. Awesome value too.
Feel for you mate, always the worst when you've got enough time to see the impact is about to happen but can't do anything about it.
Death of Monaco makes it worse :( At least you're ok buddy, thank funk he wasn't going silly speeds.
I found mine had a mind of its own. No problems for ages, then one day decided not to close. Cover it up for a couple week as I was at uni. Came home and shut it one day and it close no problems. So maybe time is a healer?
Thanks. My first efforts with an DSLR. I kind of like only having Hamilton in focus but would prefer if they all were. You do have to kind of look for it, but on the larger images its a lot easier and quicker to spot.
Will look out for the panning section, cheers.
Oh that's a shame mate. I really like your photos in general.
Hamilton is probably in focus because I was following him all the way up to and through the corner.
And yes the are damn quick! lol That's why I like Luffied as they flow smoothly around it.
Thanks.
Yup, Sigma 70-300mm APO on my Nikon D60. Sat in Luffield indeed. I've got some a bit further around Luffield and from Abbey/Farm but not had a chance to go through those yet.
The day was awesome, am not sure if I enjoyed it more from a photographer point of view rather than a fan...
I'd worry buying from the bay just incase its not UK stock, because I think warranty may be invalid if it is. But I'm very skeptical buying from ebay anyway so that could just be me.
The second hand one will probably be ok though, even better if you can check it out first.
Not much more...
I see what you mean. I did experiment to as low as 1/50 but haven't had time to see the results; I'm guessing they won't be good though.
So do you think the top pic looks ok with Hamilton in good focus and both Renaults not? I tried faster shutters but those pics bored me as they looked quite...
Yeah for Silverstone, it'd be tricky with less than 300mm in my (amateur) opinion. Some places are ok, but from the grandstands 300mm was great. Depends on your needs but its great to have the reach.
Sorry mate, totally lost me on that one lol
Cheers guys. Just a Sigma APO lens so nothing expensive.
Yeah the pics were either that size or too big. The slideshow shows them a lot better.

Got to support the British guys! The atmosphere as they went past was electric!
Quite happy with some pics I've been through so far from the F1 on the weekend, but want a bit of advice on how to improve my panning.
Is it possible to get all cars in focus in a shot like this?
Would I be right in thinking the shot below would be near impossible as the cars are...
Sigma 70-300 APO. £190ish. I think its a bargain lens, very good quality and reach for the price. Fully auto-focuses with the D60 (I have one too) and macro mode is very good - although this is where the camera struggles to focus but manual focussing in macro mode is very easy.
Some pics here...
