I think this it, can't find my alarm pack at the moment to be sure but it looks just like it
http://abacuscaralarms.co.uk/alarmshop/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=14
I had the choice to have a new alarm fob (maybe extra cost, can't remember now) or the alarm hooked to the original key fob...
Have a look inside the wheel. Should say on the back of a spoke, or on the inside of the rim its size.
Something like 18x8J et30 as an example. For bore size, just look up what the Gold bore size was.
I had a Autowatch Clam Cat 2 to 1 upgrade which works off the remote locking button on the key. It has the standard bonnet switch and ultrasonic sensors and is of course fitted to the interior light. I've also got a number pad for over-ride and to let me switch off the sensors so I can keep the...
No worries mate. I had a blast when I went. It was a dark cold day, so not many people came. I got 11 runs between 10:30 and 4 so wasn't bad.
Will have to go again once modding has started!
You can have slicks on the strip at Santa Pod. There were quite a few when I went. I'd say first time avoid the burnouts and as you come up to the line avoid the water they have on the track.
When I went, I dropped tyres pressures 1 or 2 PSI (I think I normally run 32, 30) but that was because...
Wasn't white a factory colour choice? There is/was a White one at Egham Ferrari showroom. Thought you could have them on black as well.
Epic car whatever the colour.
I agree. Some cars looks so good in white, like my mate's Golf and E92 M3s, but I think a lot of people are jumping on the bandwagon. White new 5 series :dead:
Go for it. I think being a rare colour will help its value, I wouldn't expect £1200 extra on second hand though. But I'm sure there will be people out there looking for an AG so will pay the extra. All IMO of course.
Don't get white IMO unless you're going to mod it. I reckon in a couple of...
I'd go with 106,000 as well. I think people do it delibrately and then say it was a mistake when you've gone down to see it. I've seen loads on autotrader with silly low mileage on old cars.
Mine work ok for me. Like said they have to be turned off and back to auto each time you start the car. I found the sensitivity thing doesn't make a difference whatever setting it's on. For some reason, I thought the sensitivity settings only worked when auto was off too.
I second all that, especially the last bit.
If you put the ISO on auto, I'd check after a few pics to see what setting its put them on. I prefer to adjust mine manually so I know what its on.
I've played with the BB Bold a bit and own a 3GS, no doubt about it, iPhone all the way.
I always get the impression BB owners explain why their phone is "better" than an iPhone just to justify why they got it.
I'm really starting to love the Cayman lately, I'm even starting to like the rear end. Its on the possibilities for next car.
Did they not race a Cayman against a 996 on fifth gear, 996 won iirc, but just. From what I've read about them, once fitted with an LSD they should be 911 beating.
I...
Sorry mate, don't know too much else about it. JMS Tuning sorted it all out for me. Its just the bushes that go around the actual mount, big round purply-blue things. That's the best I can describe I'm afraid! I'm sure they've been mentioned quite a bit on the forum so a search should help.
I think it was just the bushes I had changed on mine, uprated stiffness. Should be quite a bit about them on the search on here.
Be warned you may feel more vibration in the chassis/steering wheel on idle. Mine was completely unnoticeable though but others have said they can feel more...
It sounds like the lower engine mount to me, aka the dog bone mount iirc.
I had exactly the same problems with reverse and third, since changing to powerflex bush kit (at JMS Tuning) I've not encountered the same problems. 3rd can be an issue about once every couple of hundread attempts but not...
Only reason for putting the new tyres on the rear, is to use up my F1s currently on the rear so I can get matching four next year. The 195s are defo playful but I crave more grip. Fronts have lasted about 6-7k of continuous abuse.
I'll have a look at the Pzero neros but really want to give the...
I can't say I've been too impressed with my F1s. I was expecting a lot more, at first I thought it was the car but you can feel the lack of grip sometimes. Even worse now they're worn!
I wanted to try the R888s but as summer seems to have been and gone, I don't think I'll bother.
I've got 195 Eagle F1s all round on mine and wish I had more grip. Whether that's just the tyre grip or the size or the combination of the two, I'm unsure, so moving to 205 PE2s next.
I've got 195s and my fronts need changing but will be getting 205s this time. Although, the 205s will be on the rear and 195s on the front.
I've always been under the impression to have the grippier tyre on the rear to reduce chances of oversteer.
Mate, that is awesome! Best "different" thing I've seen on the forum.
I'd cover it in sticky back plastic though to protect the notes and give it a better finish.
