Decided to take a bit of time out to try out my D60. Only editting has been some cropping and one B&W.
Can't decide on these two is B&W is better or not.
What do you guys think?
My sisters clio had temp light come on and no coolant. Only difference was steam was coming out from the bonnet and loads had leaked from the top of the coolant lid. You sure yours hasn't leaked at all?
Could it be that your coolant lid was not on tight enough so water leaked but during your...
I thought you were getting a MR2?
Only MX5 I'd have is something similar to Waitey's old one. Could never get a car with less power to weight than the 172.
Nice mate, good drop. What splitter is that btw?
Turinis look tasty on monaco, always said I'll never get them but that looks so good.
Think its due to uneven ground by the looks of it.
I don't find mine too loud, maybe as I'm still young and this is the first proper fast car I've had and so I like the sound to go with it. I find it gets louder after a long drive or with passengers in the back for some reason :S but its never bothered me, even on the motorway.
 I don't...
A good website mate, looks very professional. I'm very picky when I buy on the net, and I won't buy from a company I don't know that doesn't have a decent looking website as its the first contact you have with a company and I assume if the site is not good enough, the company might not be...
Re: I'm new... quickfire photoshoot of our new Ph2 172 FF
lol give him a chance.
Nice going with the pics mate, sky looks great. Any plans for the car?
Nice pic, I really like 4 and 5. What shutter speed were you using?
And now I've realised I practise my panning on birds before I go to Silverstone lol
Centre of the bolt is torx 30 or 40 I think. I think I used the wheel brace from the spare wheel to loosen it and then unscrewed it with my fingers, was easy and quick.
Major issues with the main bolt for the rear seats. I rounded off the torx hole and its stuck halfway out atm.
Yeah it is minor but I get his point.
Cup packs were options to have the additions of the cup but without losing any luxuries, best of both worlds depending on how you look at it. TC/ESP and cruise were just additional specs added onto the 172 throughout its life.
I'm with the Doc on this one. Its 172 or 172 cup.
It not very difficult, FF ONLY applies to 182s with both cup packs, ie. cup suspension and cup spoilers.
172 Ph1
172 Ph2
172 Cup

182 Cup
182 FF
182 Trophy
Saying that it doesn't really bother me if people write 172FF, worse things have...
I've had quotes off Adrian Flux when I was under 21. Were stupid high at the time on my 1.4, this year they've been best for my 172.
Maybe you're thinking of Greenlight, they're over 21 only.
I possibly may be interested. Going to try and get another Vmaxx coilovers group buy going in a month or two if work can guarantee me more summer work, if not then I'd be going for sportlines.
If its looked after and full receipts & service history then should be alright. Would expect it for a fair bit cheaper than £3k though. What's the rest of the car like?
I wouldn't pay that much on insurance again, unless it was a Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo tbh. At 21 it was about a grand for me. TBH if you can afford it and want it, then why not. Only live once mate! Just don't go into debt/financially cripple yourself for the next year just for a 172 though...
My best was 15.2 @ 90mph when I went to Santa Pod a couple of months ago. Stealth exhaust and spare wheel and rear seat bench taken out. Rear seat backs left in as had issues with the bolt :o
That's super quick!
I did consider the trophy esp as it'd prob keep its value better than a 182FF, but just didn't want to spend that much.
Think I'm going to keep the 172, get coilovers, inlets, remap and maybe a decat, fit my ds2500s and it'll should be as quick if not quicker than a standard 182FF and for a...
I prefer it before dude, looked much better in your other thread.
I love the monaco blue so much but the only issue I have with it is it doesn't look great with other colours, silver seems to work best with it.
BTW post up bigger pictures man! I keep clicking on them to enlarge them lol The...
