Keep going to those places then mate!
I always thought an MOT station would be best, won't fail you to rip you off for parts. Failed on headlight level and a blown bulb (which I should have checked tbh) and they had no equipment to fix it. £45 test, £25 for retest. Ended up taking it...
Your shots look much better than your mates. Either because there isn't much to play with on top of hill or because you've got a better eye for it.
Cars looks nice and clean. Get some shots up from the second location when you get a flamer!
Ahh I see. Takes a bit of adjustment in the eyes to make sure you're seeing it properly but think the 200 is already growing on me. Looks great in LY. Not so keen on the GT.
£35 for a bulb and allllllllllll the effort changing it, what a joke.
Everywhere or just quick fit?
My local place say free retest if you leave the car there to be fixed, or half price retest if taken away, fixed and retested within 10 or 14 days.
A standard 172 is usually around 165bhp so pretty close and am guessing a fair bit more torque.
£210 for 2 cars! Should get a tidy amount back when scrapping the volvo once you've taken all you need too.
Really wish I was good at stuff like this!
There's light 'grey' and dark 'grey' with others in a thread I started, might help you decide. I've decided on standard.

Thanks, good to know as I was wondering whether to go down the coilover route this summer or same some money for other things and go for sportlines. Think I'll go with the eibachs.
Sorry, meant my 172 lol I love it too much to put it at risks of potential noob bumps and knocks.
Still, I know its not going to hit warp speeds but considering the damage you could do in a 1.2, a 172 wouldn't help at all.
I like the outside, looks excellent quality and although its aggressive, its kinda aggressive in a subtle way if that makes any sense.
Not a fan of the interior or boot build personally.
I was shocked to not see one of lusty's "mates" shock-horror rides.
Shouldn't damage the engine if its all warmed up nicely. My 172 gets revved hard all the time, never feels stressed and KTEC Stealth sounds mint. Feels like that's how it wants to be driven. I should give the gearbox an easier time though I think.
Wondering what is the best SDHC card to use, still the SanDisk Extreme III?
I'm thinking of getting a couple of 4GBs by the way, if that makes a difference.
FLOL go with your gut feeling if it really does concern you. But I wouldn't think it was worth selling so soon based on your reasons.
Never push a clio's bonnet down, always drop it shut, they're not solid enough to withstand the pushing! The gates really should have locked into position. 'Box...
A car pulled out infront of me when I was doing 55mph. I reckon I hit it around 25-40, no idea it was all so quick. Mk2s might fare better with the isofix bar. Only fitted it a day or two before and hadn't had a chance to secure it.
I've found Halfords heavy duty velcro strips work very...
Get the key cut seperately from your existing, just incase the locks were ever changed, probably cheaper too. Then ring up all the accessible Renaults near you for the fob as I found each dealer varied in price, around £30+ difference between my closest 10. Once fob has arrived from France, its...
Try a load of companies directly. Normally always cheaper and I've found that the excess on the policies that come out cheapest quotes on confused are always high. Try Admiral, Bell, Elephant (all part of the same group). Greenlight, adrian flux, chris knotts (all good for mods), then all the...
